Solar car travels globe

• The first solar-powered car driven by Louis Palmer, a Swiss teacher, completed its global trip . The car drove 52000 km, covering 38 countries, without using a drop of oil. The noiseless vehicle can travel at speeds up to 88 kmph and go 300 km on a fully chargedbattery. The trip aims to spread the word that people have the technologies to radically reduce carbon emissions( 散发） and stop global warming.

Jogging shrimp a YouTube hit

• A shrimp has attracted a million hits so far on YouTube after it was placed on a mini running machine in a tank （水槽） of water as part of a US science experiment filmed to see how far shrimps would travel for food.
