Day number synchronization could happen if a climate + production controller is set to use only climate.

Incorrect behavior of inspection light in manual mode

Feed demand sensor is now read correctly.

A new Feed selection mode is added. The mode is used to choose between the existing mode(per Destination) where a feed type for each destination is set, and a fixed feed type per animal. When this mode is selected a feed type/mix can be selected for all female destinations and another feed type/mix can be selected for all male destinations.

Temperature selection text 'DOL 15/114' is changed to 'DOL 114'

Heat recovery cleaning: the part made by the heat recovery unit before cleaning is ignored during cleaning. This is made to secure against low temperature during cleaning if the same ventilation demand was moved to side outlets.

Humidity ventilation in pure tunnel could be kept high (up to 30%) even though the humidity was below set point.

Minimum ventilation curve was not visible in pure tunnel setup

Catching is no longer reset after reboot or power loss. Furthermore uninstall then install is always performed when changing install type (button->key->button).

FarmOnline: AirSpeed and ventilation was not disabled in sidemode / tunnel mode

Zone controlled inlet is now also working within Heat Recovery Unit ventilation mode.

Tunnel cooling type, mode and ratio’s must be checked after an upgrade.

o Type must be set to PAD or SPRAY, this is new to version 3.0. The default setting is PAD, which is the most used tunnel cooling type. But this type reset the mode to parallel.

o Mode must be set to parallel or sequence (sequence is only available if type is spray).

In between functions do not activate the correct ventilation demand if heat recovery unit is set to active


Side cooling can be synchronized with minimum inlet cycle timer

If synchronization of humidification or cooling is active they are also kept OFF until delay time has elapsed (they could go ON if the demand was high enough).

Humidification is now stopped if temperature is below heat setpoint (it was ventilation setpoint before).

Tunnel cooling will start up with a (converted) side cooling demand if desert control is active. Conversion rate is 3:1

When switching from Natural mode to side or HRU the starting ventilation demand in side/HRU is set 25% or 75%. If Natural is stopped because of low outside temperature the side ventilation demand will be 25%. If Natural is stopped because high outside temperature or high CO2 the side ventilation demand will be 75%.

Hysteresis on the natural ventilation inlets and outlets are now working as +/- hysteresis, so that they don’t move on every sample.

After a power fail Pan feeding and Chain feeding will wait for the cross augers to fill before starting.

Dynamic MultiStep signals (0-10 volt and stop relays) could not be controlled in manual

In BASIC mode the pressure controlled inlets was not controlled during correct during minimum ventilation. They are now controlled according to pressure with active fans and closed with fans stopped.

In some situation winch motors would change position frequently up and down around the required position (due to float compare without hysteresis)

Tunnel cooling 'blocked by' information is set to temperature if control form is by temperature and the airspeed (temperature) is too low.

Default value for CO2 control is 10000 ppm as in version 3.0

Text for weather station 'offset to north' is changed to 'offset from north'

Daynumber could increase by 2 at nidnight

Tunnel cooling setup as 'based on air speed' started too early if the user had reduced maximum airspeed. In that case the cooling would start on the user set maximum airspeed, even if cooling start speed was higher.

Drum weigher and DOL 9940 has been optimized for speed.

Feed weighing with DOL 99B is now just as quick as a with a DOL 95.

Minimum ventilation curve is was visible in pure tunnel setup

If the controller cannot see an USB stick, the problem can be resolved by switching power off and on. The symptom are that the USB is detected but no mounted or unmouted message is displayed.

It requires FarmOnline Explorer 3.1 or newer to display the ventilation mode properly.


The batch curves can operate with negative numbers, to be used for prestart/preheating

Minimum ventilation by CO2 is no longer limited to 25% of curve value the first 10 days of the batch

The name of the function ‘Night setback’ is changed to ‘Day-and-night adjustment’.

It is made harder to restore to factory settings (so that it is done in the same way as batch end/start). This is changed to secure against unwanted defaults.

The filling settings (matrix) is now available for the advanced user view

Individual egg counters can now be selected for the advanced user view

Hysteresis for leaving tunnel is changed from 2° to 1° C. This is changed to reduce the factor of ‘double hysteresis’ on tunnel start and stop.

Chill effect is now 0.0° C with inside temperatures at 38° C or more

If a USB stick with a program update is not boot ice formatted, the controller will ask if it should format the USB stick but did not format the USB correctly

Detection of USB stick is improved

SDK updated to handle early hardware version (before revision I)

Feed update from an electronic silo or day silo was not registered, after the destination target was reached. When target is reached feed demand is removed and the silo system recalculates the consumption made.

Light dimmer did not work in manual mode

Default value for CO2 control is changed to a P band of 10.000 ppm

Heat recovery cleaning program fixed, it did only use program number 1

Heat recovery unit did not open side inlet during anti icing if 'Use side curve for side inlets' was selected

Save and restore settings from SD card could read wrong settings.

Chain feeding would not always work correctly if the start time was at 0:00 or the feeding period crosses midnight.

Egg counter trend graph was not working.

Destination feeding: If more silos was installed with the same feed type, it would always take from the silo with the highest number, instead of the silo that was selected.

All feed weighers (except DOL 99B and DOL 9940): If more silos was installed with same feed type, then when selecting Automatic change, the parameters for setting time and amount for the change, could not be seen.

Comfort and chill factor is now available for daily and advanced user menu's

It is now possible to specify the actual sex of the birds in both Broiler and Breeder (in the Setup / Adjustment / Production menu).

Feed offset can now be adjusted with a precision of 0.1 g / bird

The order of culled reasons has been adjusted so the most frequently used culled reasons are at the top

I/O Type 6 and I/O Type 7 only works on position 1 to 6, so it is fixed so they cannot be selected on position 7 and upwards.

It is now possible to enter “Inspection weight” – if a manual bird weigher is installed together with an electronic bird weigher

The feed column in the “Destinations setup” menu in Setup / Adjustment / Production has been removed – it is available in the Production / Filling / Destinations menu

Default values for production alarms has been adjusted to better match what is required in typical installations

Fix of automatic silo change from silo 2 to silo 1

Nightly backup of settings has been fixed and the settings can be restored using Technical / Service / Settings / Restore settings from backup.

Fix so PC Sim (the PC simulator) do not crash when IO type 6 and IO Type 7 are selected.

“Show connection” has been fixed so for IO Type 10 it is now shown when an external resistor is required.
