Editing Software

Final Cut Pro

The reason for using Final Cut Pro as

our editing software is because we

have previously used it in the past

meaning we have a clear

understanding of how to use it. From

previously using it, it means we can

use our developed skills to create a

better project along with learning from

the mistakes made in before. This

software can easily import and export

files therefore eliminating any chance

of loss of footage.

Soundtrack Software

Soundtrack ProSame with Final Cut Pro, we have

previously created pieces of music

on Soundtrack Pro meaning we

understand the software along with

already developed skills which we

didn't previously have on our first

project. This could mean a more

skilled score/soundtrack for our

trailer along with creating more

challenging and better pieces of

music.

Typography & Credits

SoftwareLiveTypeAn important feature of our trailer is the

production companies Ident and set of

typography/credits used in our trailer

therefore we will be using LiveType

software which we have previously

used. As we have already used this

software before, it allows us to create a

more effective/professional Ident at the

beginning of our trailer along with

credit's which fit in with our genre of film

as well as selecting the right typography

and colour scheme's to link in with our

main themes.
