These will attract foreigners which will then increase the population of Singapore thus increasing the economic growth of Singapore.

All these contributions will lead to providing more jobs to Singaporeans- as a result, improving Singapore’s economy.

What have we learnt from MBS Being daring to take the risk of trying out new

things is important to Singapore's economy and quality of life. The IR has attracted many foreigners, which in

turn gamble, thus Singapore earns profit. However, this will also attract Singaporeans to gamble

which will be bad to Singapore's economy if the gamblers land in debts.

Leadership is Key…

The IR was proposed by PM Lee Hsien Loong. This caused a long debate by many other people of the parliament. But because PM Lee Hsien Loong was more courageous to build it as he foreseen that IR would benefit Singapore. This is an example of ‘Leadership is Key’

Anticipate Change and Stay Relevant… The IR was a huge risk, but PM Lee Hsien

Loong anticipated all that and set up entry fees for Singaporeans of $100/entry. This is an example of anticipating change and

staying relevant.
