Social Networking In My Everyday Life
I use Facebook to stay in contact with my college media group so we can talk about the work we need to do and help each other out.
Like Posts
I use Facebook to see what my friends and family are up too.
This follows the norms of the site, keeping up to date with what everyone else is doing. Following their story (Antony Giddnes).
I also use Facebook to share memories with my friends, which according to theorist Antony Giddens would be me sharing my story.
Profile Pictures
My profile pictures are usually just me and my friends, which is front stage as I’m showing people what I want them to see. It’s the norm for people using Facebook to have a picture of themselves and themselves with other people as their profile picture.
(please ignore the 3 random pictures that are not me. My friends are turds)
Instagram is a social media which I use to post my photos and keep them in a collection together.
On Instagram I follow accounts that interest me so when I scroll through my newsfeed I only see the posts I want to see. I follow my friends, accounts of bands/stars/films to keep me updated and accounts that post memes and funny videos.
I also use Instagram to keep updated with my friends and family. We usually post pictures of each other so we can share and use the photos for memories.
I mostly access Instagram through the app on my phone. I usually access Facebook by using the Facebook and Facebook Messenger app on my phone, I sometimes use my laptop.
