Free Advertisement Social Media offers organizations the ability to promote themselves for free on the internet.

The Like feature is a tool used to personalize what advertisements people see, based on what they like. Organizations can create a page or ad and be promoted for free to their target audience!

Monitoring Their ImageBeing online allows organizations to monitor what people on Facebook, Twitter, Blogger and other forms of social media are saying about them. By creating a page or account for themselves, they put out the positive image they want the consumer to see.

It is ExpectedRecently, the phenomenon of social media has made it so people expect to see the organization of interest on the web. When one isnt, it makes them see like they are behind the times, and not capable of competing in the modern world.

EmployeesSocial media allows organizations and companies to do quick and easy background checks on potential employees, to make sure they are a good person, will work hard and represent the company well. It also allows employees and people in the workplace to connect better and work with one another through emails and sharing mediums.

In Their Best InterestIt is in the best interest of organizations to use the resources given by Social Media.Those who choice not to participate in social media are negatively affected due to lack of exposure, advertisements, and not being able to connect to the vast majority of the population that already uses social media.
