CHALLENGE
Virgin Atlantic has been active and successful in social media from a grass roots level for a few years. However, their success has put demands on resources and subsequently raised the need for a more rigorous, measurable strategic approach.
They asked Qube to conduct a sociability audit and set out a strategic roadmap to become a ‘social business’.

INSIGHT
The tools of social media, such as Facebook or Twitter, are just that, they are tools. They cannot equip a business with the skills, processes and culture required to have meaningful or useful dialogue that will further your business and brand - and become a ‘social business’

WHAT WE DID
Our strategy was to deliver a sociability review of the organisation. The review aimed to explore both the internal and external challenges and realities of becoming a social business. We would evaluate where Virgin Atlantic were on our sociability scale and provide a roadmap for how to move forward from the current position.

We conducted a full internal audit through extensive depth interviews with senior management and an employee survey.
