What is a Twitter list?
• A way to organize your feed. You don’t need to follow someone to add them to a list!
• Lists can be private or public.
• Great way to organize contacts for specific areas. Example: list of literary agents you are querying, list of editors at niche magazines, etc…
• Build a list by viewing someone else’s. Go to their profile, click on “lists” and view lists they are members of, as well as their own lists.
• Instead of seeing tweets in feed, view them from your list.

What are Twitter cards? • You can attach pics/videos to Tweets that drive
traffic to your website. It adds a “Card” to the Tweet that's visible to followers.
• Currently there are 10 different types of Twitter cards. “Summary” cards are the default.
• If you have Wordpress.org, use the plugin SEO by Yoast (go to Social tab) to set up Twitter cards.
Blogger needs to insert coding.
• Link to your blog posts/site and readers can see more than 140 characters.

Fun tips:
- You can “mute” someone - still follow them but not see them on feed
- Use proper capitalization in hashtags to be read more often. Example: #GlamourMagazine rather than #glamourmagazine
- Use Google Adwords Keyword Planner to find the keywords people in your industry are using. Twitter search for those words & corresponding hashtags.
- Use only 2 hashtags in your tweets. More hashtags = less readers.
- Schedule tweets a few minutes before/after top of the hour
- Keep tweets to 100 characters so when people RT they can comment
- Don’t auto-DM and don’t tweet your blog posts directly to someone

posted
- Twchat - Shows you calendar what Twitter chats are happening for specific hashtags
- ManageFlitter and JustUnfollow - Unfollow those who are inactive, not engaging, spam or aren’t following you back
