China now has more netizens than any

other country in the world

Growing at 6 million users a month

It overtook the US in 2008.

Guangzhou have the edgiest print

media in China, and cover Hunan, which

has the most innovative TV stations.

China still controls its media more

tightly than almost any other important

country, including Russia.

The web is a freer space, but there are

real, and constant, limits too.

They can't use Youtube to upload video

content.
