YOUTUBE

Youtube has vey useful links to other major websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and sharing by email. Almost every trailer of any film goes onto Youtube in order to reach a variety of audience and gain publicity due to the website’s vast usage everyday. Sponsored advertisements also help to market films across the web via Youtube.

TWITTER

Twitter is recently becoming more and more popular. Most celebrities and people within the media industry have a twitter account; again, links can be shared between these people and hopefully build recognition. The audience can feel more involved with the film, when main actors can personally post and give sneak-peak insights to behind the scenes and progress within the lead up to the release date.

FACEBOOK

Facebook is one of the most popular sites on the Internet. Using this to our advantage, we created a page for The Unknown to allow very high publicity. Facebook links can be shared, and people can be invited to ‘like the page,’ hopefully eventually leading to blanket coverage and maximum knowledge of the name and concept of the film.
