If the software requires cronjobs to be enabled, you should NEVER copy/paste the cronjob commands from this user guide into your control panel. Depending on your PDF reader, the cronjob commands may get corrupted and cause problems later (even if they look fine visually). Please ALWAYS enter cronjob commands manually.

License Validation

The software comes with a powerful license validation system in order to prevent software piracy and unauthorized usage. If a customer shares his license with other people (installation details and IPs used to launch installer are stored), the license will be deactivated automatically and all installations will stop working. You will not experience this issue if you do not share your license. The software also comes with a protection against fraudulent orders. When a new installation is performed, the installation wizard connects to our license database. Your customer details (home IP address, server IP address, IP address used to make order or launch installation wizard, etc.) are stored on this database. In case an order is fraudulent (or customer wants to make a chargeback), the license is deactivated and all installations will stop working automatically. Finally, in case of fraud or unauthorized usage, all stored information is forwarded to the Internet Crime Complaint Center, National White Collar Crime Center, customer bank department and your hosting provider (requesting to terminate customer service immediately).

Automatic Software Installation

Social Bookmarks Submitter could be uploaded to your server and installed with single mouse click. Please follow instructions below to automate software installation.

Login to customer center at http://www.submitbookmark.com/customers.html and click 'Installations' link in navigation bar. Click 'Start New Installation' link and follow instructions on screen to install software on your website. Please note single installation allows you promoting unlimited number of sites hosted on different servers, so there is no need to make a separate installation on each site you own. Please note: this feature works with cPanel servers only.

Manual Software Installation

Installing this powerful software manually is as easy. Please follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the Social Bookmarks Submitter installation.

Upload all files to the domain where you wish the software to be installed. All files must be uploaded in BINARY mode only (refer to FTP client help file if you are unsure how to configure FTP software for BINARY uploads). Usually the files need to be uploaded to the public_html or httpdocs directory.

Chmod files 'chmod_sbs_config.php' and 'social_cookie.txt' to 777 using your FTP client. Login to your cPanel (or another hosting control panel) and setup new MySQL database, user/password. Add MySQL user to the database and grant all permissions.

Run your browser and open http://www.yourdomain.com/social_install/ to start the installation wizard. Please follow all instructions on the screen to complete your installation. If you need more information regarding any field (which need to be filled), move your mouse over the green help icon (displaying '?' symbol) for more details.

After filling all fields (all settings can be changed later), click the 'Install' button. If any errors are detected, the installation wizard will provide instructions on how to fix them. Otherwise, you will be able to login to the administration interface and start using the software.

Do not forget to delete the 'social_install' directory and chmod file 'chmod_sbs_config.php' back to 644. Finally, you need to setup bookmarking cronjob. Enter Cronjobs section in your hosting control panel and setup this cronjob to be launched: php -q /home/cpanel_username/public_html/social_posting.php Attention! Please remember you need to change 'cpanel_username' into real username of your cPanel account. Attention! Never copy/paste cronjob command from PDF file and always enter it manually, otherwise software will not work.

Attention! Please leave a space symbol before and after '-q'. The screenshot below contains one of possible cronjob configurations.

Bookmarking cronjob is launched every 8 hours in this example. It's not recommended to launch cronjob more often than 6-8 hours; otherwise your domains might be reported as part of spam network. If you believe cronjob doesn't work properly, please verify it's entered correctly. If you are unsure, please contact your hosting provider (NOT AdSenseBoy support desk) and ask if your cronjob is configured correctly.

Administration Interface

This section is used to manage Social Bookmarks Submitter, configure software settings according to your personal needs, setup new website promotion campaigns, view reports, and more... The main administration window displays all of the software details, enables you to check for updates, and displays various notes related to website promotion campaigns. The main window also includes 'Self-Test' feature which continously monitors your software settings and reports all possible issues (including detailed information how website promotion campaigns can be improved). At very bottom of page you will find scrolling news ticker displaying latest news and updated on other website promotion tools, exclusive offers for AdSenseBoy clients, announcements, and more useful information. If you ever need more information regarding the options in the administration interface, move your mouse over the green help icon (displaying '?' symbol) for a full explanation of the option.

PROMOTED DOMAINS

Add New Domains

Here you can add new domains to be submitted to social bookmarking sites. Each domain should start with http:// or http://www. and it must be a valid and working domain (otherwise submission will fail).

Edit Domains

Here you can edit domains. Individual title, description and tags (keywords) can be assigned for each domain. If you enter tags manually when automatic tags parsing module is enabled, your custom tags will be used for these domains (automatic tags will be ignored).

Submission Reports

Here you can see bookmarked domains. Each record displays exact submission date and social account used for bookmarking.

SOCIAL ACCOUNTS

Add New Accounts

Here you can add new social accounts. When new accounts are added, they need be registered using 'Edit Accounts' section. Make sure you use valid username (no spaces or special symbols), valid password (no spaces, special symbols are not recommended) and valid email address (should be valid and working email).

Edit Accounts

Here you can edit social accounts. If account email or password is changed here, you should update email/password on social networks manually. If account needs to be registered (or re-registered), automatic registration wizard could be launched by clicking the first icon near selected account. The first icon indicates account registration status. If it's red, it means this account has not yet been registered. Click the first icon once to launch automatic account registration wizard (it will register this account on all social sites). If it's green, it means this account was successfully registered. The second icon displays account activation status. If it's red, it means this account is not active (not used for bookmarking). When account registration engine is launched, it also automatically activates the account. If it's green, it means this account is active and used for bookmarking. Click the second icon once if you want to deactivate selected account for a while.

SOCIAL SITES

Add New Social Sites

Here you can add new social sites used to submit your domains. It's NOT required to enter http:// or http://www. prefix, but it must be the main URL of site (for example, somedomain.com or somesite.com/bookmarks) Attention: Because each site uses different registration and posting forms, you can only add social sites which are supported by Social Bookmarks Submitter software. This form is mainly used to re-add supported social sites which were deleted previously.

Edit Social Sites

Here you can edit social sites used to submit your domains. If you don't want your domains to be bookmarked on some social networks, you can deactivate or completely delete them here.

Here you can edit proxy servers. If you want proxy server to be deleted, check 'Delete' box near proxy IP to delete it.

Import Data

Here you can import data from another Social Bookmarks Submitter installation. Copy data from another installation using 'Export Software Data' feature and paste it here. Do NOT make any changes to data, copy/paste data as it is.

Export Data

Here you can export data to another Social Bookmarks Submitter installation. Copy data you want to export and paste it to another installation using 'Import Software Data' feature. Do NOT make any changes to data, copy/paste data as it is.

ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS

Mass Actions

This section is used to perform mass actions on your website. With a single mouse click it's possible to: activate/deactivate all accounts, delete all accounts, activate/deactivate all social sites, reset/delete all domains, delete all proxy servers, and more. Proceed only if you are sure what you are doing.

Change Password

Here you can change password for admin user. Enter the same password into both fields and click 'Save Changes' button. Please note password must contain 6 symbols at least and you may need to login again after changing admin password.

Check for Updates

In this area you can check for a new version of the Social Bookmarks Submitter.

Help Section
