• Level of material comfort as measured by the goods. Services, and luxuries available to an individual, community, or nation.

• What that really means is the stuff you can get and the stuff your used to!

Understanding Quality of Life

• We all have access to clean water and a general quality of life.

• However, some places have a bid difference between the populations quality of life.

• Even in Fort McMurray, this is known as Disparity.

• However, it can often be far greater in other places globally, can we think of any?

Some Examples

• 17% of the world’s population do not have access to clean water.

• Nearly 2/3 of the these people live in Asia. • In Sub-Saharan Africa, 42% of the population

do not have access to clean water.
