to rethread the machine. it is IMPERATIVE that you cut the thread from the spools and ALWAYS pull the thread out of the machine to the LEFT!

incidentally, this is what a correctly loaded bobbin will look like. the important thing to note here is the location of the “tail end of the thread.

to pop the bobbin out use this little tab to release it. it works pretty well by slipping your fingernail under the tab and pulling gently.

to reload the bobbin (after you’ve popped it back in) lead the thread around and slide it in to the crevice on the bobbin housing.

lead the thread up and around to the left, then firmly bring it back down and to the right. you should feel it catch -- if you get up in there and look under the bobbin you should see a small hook, if the thread is in there you’ve got it! if not, try again.

once it’s loaded properly, bring the thread up to the left again and cut it (so it’s a reasonable length.)refer back to card #10 to make sure everything looks right.

then just shut the case, Swiss Miss will flip the bobbin back in as you close it (so don’t slam it).

bobbining BONUS15.

when the bobbin runs out of thread, don’t freak out! rethreading it is easy.first, pull out the bob-bin (you’ve got that down!)

then, put the empty bobbin on the white peg -- this will trigger Swiss Miss to start showing you a video of what to do with your string.put a spool of thread on the outer spoke and bring it up and through the twofer hook.

bobbining BONUS16.

bring the thread down through the silver hook, loop it backwards around the second silver peg (follow the arrow), loop it a couple of times around the bobbin, then bring it down over the silver fin to cut the thread.

now that you’re all set up, go to the screen and select 100% (and I usually like to hit reset on the spooling tension because sometimes people change it and it gets all wonky) then hit the button that has a bobbin with magic thread swirling around it and let Swiss Miss do her thing.

now just reload the bobbin like a boss, and keep on truckin’!
