Join the Jasper County Public Library as we welcome Jim Gill as he performs for families and children of all ages at the DeMotte Library on Saturday, November 18 @ 10:30 am. I n honor of Jasper County military veterans, Kyle Eenigenburg has presented each branch of the Jasper County Public Library with a binder detailing military veterans buried in Jasper County cemeteries, which includes photos of headstones on each grave, the service member’s date of birth, date of death, the war that they served in, and, in some cases, their rank and the branch of military that they served in. The binder, which may be found in the Genealogy Room of the Rensselaer, DeMotte & Wheatfield Library, was created as an Eagle Scout project assigned to Kyle, and information was compiled for this project through newspapers, Ancestry.com, and through touring each cemetery, and viewing each headstone within the cemeteries. I n honor of Jasper County military veterans, Kyle Eenigenburg has presented each branch of the Jasper County Public Library with a binder detailing military veterans buried in Jasper County cemeteries, which includes photos of headstones on each grave, the service member’s date of birth, date of death, the war that they served in, and, in some cases, their rank and the branch of military that they served

in. Bid as many times as you wish throughout the month. Winning bidders will be notified on Friday, December 1. Shop DeMotte & Win! Check out an item from the DeMotte Library and earn a $10 credit toward the Chamber of Commerce Shop DeMotte and Win entry! To participate, you must use your library card to check out an item, then take your credit to the Chamber of Commerce Office to enter in their drawing, November 25-December 22.
