This is how even a single desk can look like a small personal cabinet with character. And personalization in SO is not only achieved through accessoires with various color and size alternatives; but also by giving more space to display or to hide the office workers’ personal belongings.

Personalization is also the key concept for the different combinations that can be achieved with the open working system. Because all the solutions have been included and none of them is privileged, the architect is free to play with the basic system in order to find the perfect configuration for the customer’s personal demands. Thus, the system offers an unparalled flexibilty to create many different configurations according to various needs in time and space: From a single desk to a bench, from a work station to a managerial desk or even to a call center... Even with the basic leg system, table and desk configuration one can already achieve a lot of possibilities.

Tüm bu sadelik kişisel ayrıntılarla ve gereksinimler ile zenginleştirilebilecek bir temel düzenin üretimine yol açıyor. Aksesuarların tamamı kişiselleştirilebilir. Böylece bir sıra bile kişiliği olan küçük bir dolap görünümü alır. SO'da kişiselleştirme yalnızca çeşitli renk ve büyüklükteki aksesuar seçenekleri ile değil aynı zamanda ofis çalışanlarının şahsi eşyalarını gösterebilecekleri veya saklayabilecekleri bir mekan yaratmaktadır.

Kişiselleştirme, açık bir çalışma düzeniyle elde edilebilecek çeşitli kurulumların kilit kavramıdır. Tüm çözümler dahil edildiği ve hiç birisi diğerinden ayrıcalıklı olmadığı için mimar müşterisinin kişisel taleplerine tam uyan kurulumu bulabilmek amacıyla temel düzen ile istediği gibi oynamakta hürdür. Böylece düzen, zaman ve mekan gereksinimlerine göre çok çeşitli kurulumlar oluşturmada eşsiz bir esneklik sunmakta: Bir sıradan tezgaha, çalışma biriminden yönetici masasına, hatta bir çağrı merkezine kadar... Basit bir bacak düzeneği ile masa ve sıra kurulumu zaten pek çok olanaklar sağlıyor.

The SO Operative System designed by the multi-faceted Italian designer and interior architect Claudio Bellini for Ersa, is litterarly an “open” system. SO is designed to meet the all the needs of the contemporary work environment. It is not only a perfect modular system of desks, benches, tables, work stations and fitting accessories; but also a whole new space and living environment where the workers feel comfortable and happy during long office hours.

SO Operative System’s basic design principle is “light thinking”. As a result, all the components and details that are not needed have already been eliminated during the design process. This is how; a platform that is single, functional, clean and clear at the same time is achieved. Simple thinking and a simple structure is Bellini’s guideline. Reduced elements gathered together with strenght and flexibility create the dynamic effect of lightness and durability in perfect harmony. It goes without saying that material and color choices only justify this magic formula.

Çok yönlü İtalyan tasarımcı ve içmimar Claudio Bellini'nin ERSA için tasarladığı “SO İşlevsel Düzen” gerçekten “açık” bir sistem. SO çağdaş çalışma ortamının tüm gereksinimlerini karşılamak için tasarlandı. Yalnızca sıralardan, tezgahlardan, masalardan, çalışma birimleri ve uygun aksesuarlardan oluşan mükemmel bir modüler sistem değil aynı zamanda da çalışanların uzun mesai saatleri süresince kendilerini rahat ve hoş hissettikleri, tamamen yeni bir mekan ve yaşam ortamı.

SO İşlevsel Düzen'in temel tasarım esası,“hafifliği” düşünmektir. Sonuçta, gerekli olmayan tüm parçalar ve ayrıntılar tasarım sürecinde dışlanmıştır. Bu şekilde aynı anda tekil, işlevsel, temiz ve berrak olan bir tasarıma erişilmiştir. İnce düşünüş ve basit yapılar Bellini'nin rehberidir. Azaltılmış unsurların güç ve esneklik ile bileşimi mükemmel uyumlu dinamik hafiflik etkisi ve dayanıklılık yaratıyor. Malzeme ve renk seçeneklerinin bu sihirli formülün hakkını verdiğinden söz etmeye de gerek yok.

At the same time, we had to think about the connectivity of the people working together in the same place, in a nice environment. Two apparently different needs considered together under the same principles.

As a result, we created a feasible and interesting structure, that is, at the same time very simple to be produced and cost effective... and inevitably comfortable!”

The SO Operative System is eco-friendly. It is basically produced of steel and melanine, that are both recyclable materials.The fact that few different materials have been used in the production also makes it easier to dissasamble and recycle in the future. Thus, the system is fully compatible with green building projects.

Claudio Bellini lives and works in Milan where he was born in 1963. In 1990, he graduated in Architecture and Industrial Design from Milan Polytechnic and embarked on a series of international experiences, taking part in research projects in the fields of industrial architecture and furniture design.

In 1998, he designed the TW Collection for Frezza, a timeless products which marked his official arrival and specialization in office design, a sector in which he has received numereous awards. In the years that followed, he worked with a number of historic firms in the field of Italian and international design as well as working on interior design projects for major showrooms and articipating in numerous architecture competitions.

2006 saw the foundation of “Claudio Bellini Design + Design”, a design studio distinguished by formal and technological research with a decidedly experimental approach which is carried out in the prototype laboratory in the studio.

He teaches the course in Design and Furnishings at Genoa Polytechnic. Since 2003, he has been art director for Barazzoni. At present, the Claudio Bellini studio is working on a number of major international architecture projects.

Claudio Bellini

1963 doğumlu Claudio Bellini Milan’da yaşıyor. 1990 yılında, Milan Politeknik Mimari ve Endüstriyel Tasarım Bölümü'nü bitirdi ve endüstriyel mimari ve mobilya tasarımı konusunda araştırma projelerinde yer alarak bir dizi uluslararası çalışmaya başladı.

1998 yılında, ilk resmi onayını aldığı, ofis tasarımında uzmanlaştığı ve çok çeşitli ödüller aldığı sektörde belirli bir zamana ait olmayan ürünlerden TW Collection’ı Frezza için tasarladı. İzleyen yıllarda, çeşitli mimari yarışmalara katılarak büyük showroom’ların iç tasarım çalışmalarının yanı sıra İtalyan ve uluslararası tasarım alanında tarihe geçmiş birçok firmayla çalıştı.

2006 yılında, stüdyodaki prototip laboratuvarında yürütülen kesinlikle deneysel yaklaşımla şekilsel ve teknolojik araştırmalarla dikkat çeken “Claudio Bellini Design+Design” firmasını kurdu. Genova Politeknik’te tasarım ve donanım dersleri verdi.

2003 yılından bu yana, Barazzonni’nin sanat yönetmenliğini yapan Claudio Bellini ve ekibi, birçok uluslararası büyük projede çalışıyor.
