There is no doubt thatfinding the time tointegrate technology is anoverwhelming task foranyone. Throughout thecourse of a day, teachersfind themselves pulled inmany directions.However, technology isalready integrated innearly everything we doand nearly every job ourstudents will encounter.

So how do educators findan ideal balance forlearning about andeventually integratingtechnology?It begins with a focusfollowed by goodinstructional design -- butultimately, a healthybalance.

Integrating technologydoesn't have to consume yourlife as an educator. In fact,if a little time is spent on,say, Google Drive, teacherscan eventually save time andpaper, while collaboratingmore effectively withstudents.

Personally, in my classrooms, Ididn’t seek to integrate everyfree web tool that someoneposted. However, I simply usedsome sites (and many others)as a resource. I referencedthat resource at the beginningof each new school year andmade decisions based on whatI will teach. Then I focused onthe underlying learningobjectives that I wanted,complete with students, andfound digital tools tocomplement or enhance thoseskills.

Edmodo: I introduce my students to collaborative learningspaces and integrate them into a scaled-down learningmanagement system (LMS), I would use Edmodo. Here you canhave examples of how other teachers are using it in class.

QUIZLET : is a free website providing learning tools forstudents, including flashcards, study and game modes.It is a great way to engage your students and enhancecontents.

Before we rush to judgment on technology integration as anothersweeping phase in education, we should focus on finding a healthybalance for integrating technology in our respective classrooms.

be sure your staff understands that a classroom technology misstepdoes not mean a negative evaluation. Rather, see it as a step in thelearning process.

As educators, we must prepare our students for their future, notours.

ABOUT FLIPPED CLASSROOMS

The flipped classroom describes areversal of traditional teachingwhere students gain first exposureto new material outside of class,usually via reading or lecture videos,and then class time is used to do theharder work of assimilating thatknowledge through strategies suchas problem-solving, discussion ordebates.Here in our school we are trying toadapt our curriculum to these kind oflearning. It is not easy but we aretrying to do our best. To do it , isnecessary our community becomeengaged with tech- learning as astep in personal and knowledgegrowing.
