A social networking service (also known as social networking site, SNS or social media) is an online platform that is used by people to build social networks or social relations with other people who share similar personal or career interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections.

History of LMS1. Originally offer functionality beyond instructional
content such as management and tracking, more personalized instruction, and integration across the system.
2. Has many generic term before such as computer-assisted learning (CAL), computer-managed instruction (CMI), and integrated learning systems (ILS).
3. The FirstClass by SoftArc used by United Kingdom's Open University in the 1990s to deliver online learning across Europe, is often identified as the first modern learning management system.

SNS is where people

stored. However, it has barriers.
To overcome the barriers, SNS is used instead of

already using social media away
from the classroom,
