Insomnia

• Insomnia is a sleeping disorder that keeps you up when you are trying to go to sleep.

• Insomnia usually affects people over the age of 65 but it also can happen at a young age.

Materials

• 1 Mix CD

• 1 Room

• 1 Stereo System

• 1 Bed

Procedure

• One night go to bed at 10:00 p.m. and sleep with soft music see how long it takes to fall asleep.

• The next night I will go to sleep at the same time but I will not listen to any music and see how long it takes me to fall asleep.

Variables

• Independent = Music

• Dependent = Time to fall asleep

• Controlled = Go to bed at same time etc.

My Results

• I found out that I fall asleep faster with music than without music.

• It only took me 5 minutes to fall asleep with music but, took me 15 minutes to fall asleep without music.

Conclusion

• By my results I will fall asleep faster with music than without.

• So go home and try my little experiment and see which helps you fall asleep faster with or without music.
