SNAAPP • SNAAPP is an app with dual functions,

namely attendance taking and notifications capabilities. It acts as the communication platform between the school and parents.

SNAAPP • Students and parents can receive messages

(notifications) from teachers/school via SNAAPP

• Only the school can initiate a message thread.

• Push-down notifications will be sent to parents to notify that their child is absent/late for school.

Step 1: Two parent accounts are created for each child. In order to receive notifications from the school, parents should log in as Child’s I/C_p1 or Child’s I/C_p2 where p1 stands for “parent 1” and p2 for “parent 2” e.g. T1234567A_p1 and T1234567A_p2

System Notification

• Parents can expect to receive notification:

- about your child’s absence/late coming from 10 am daily; - when the school/teachers initiate a push-down message pertaining to school matters.

– Read-only messages serve as a form of announcements which require no action/reply from the parents.

– Private reply messages which allows parents to reply to the sender.

Online Consent Form/Letter • The school will issue online forms for

school excursions (e.g. Learning Journey, Level Camps) to parents via SNAAPP.

• Parents are strongly encouraged to give the online consent through SNAAPP.

• Hardcopy consent form will be issued to parents who do not have a smart phone.
