LEGEND: * Prerequisite Required; [g] meets a general education requirement; [c] core course; [e] elective. Hybrid courses are design ated as ‘BOL’ in the system. Hybrid/BOL (Blended On-Line) are courses attended face-to-face one night a week, with rest of class done on-line. ALL courses are three (3) semester credits unless otherwise noted. Fees: A $65 per credit professional fee is assessed on ACC, BA, CSC, ECN and NUR classes.++ All online or hybrid courses are assessed a $30 online fee. These fees are waived for those designated eligible for the Military Rate, which includes service members (active duty, National Guard/Reservists) and their spouses, and disabled veterans (NOT Voc Rehab) and their spouses.

The Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) program is a full-time, 16-week program that includes academic and technical training, certification testing and practical exercises aligned to meet urgent industry needs for Information Technology professionals. Successful completion of the MSSA program results in a Certificate in Computer Science from Saint Martin's University and a job interview with Microsoft or one of its partners. The MSSA program is currently open to both Veterans and Active Duty Service Members with a separation or retirement date of 180 days or less from the class start date. JBLM: Active Duty must attend the CSP briefing held every Monday at 12:00 in Hawk Career Center, North Fort, Bldg. 11577 Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA 98433. MSSA representatives are present to answer question as well as CSP representatives to determine your eligibility for the program. Other Locations: For Service Members not located at JBLM, the Army has authorized Service Members to attend the Saint Martin’s MSSA program at JBLM while on Permissive Temporary Duty (PTDY). Saint Martin’s University has accommodations available for the duration of the program. Contact your local CSP representative to initiate the process, if your location does not have a CSP representative then contact the JBLM CSP team. MSSA Weekly Webinar: Please attend the live MSSA webinar to get information about the MSSA program and to get assistance with the application process. We conduct two webinar sessions every Tuesday, one at 8 am PST and one at 3 pm PST in order to provide maximum convenience for time zones from Korea to Germany. This webinar is conduced via Microsoft Teams, you can either join the meeting using the online app or download the app to your phone or computer. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
The Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Saint Martin’s University’s main campus in Lacey, prepares you for a career as a professional registered nurse. The BSN program enables you to take the NCLEX-RN exam in any state in the US, and prepares you for life-long learning including graduate education. BSN graduates are prepared to work across the care continuum, in hospitals, community agencies, home health care, hospice, skilled nursing facilities, mental health facilities and more.
Program Highlights: BSN students will develop critical thinking skills in the Saint
Martin’s liberal arts core, and layer on the knowledge and skills of the rigorous nursing program to be prepared to practice in an ever-changing care environment.
Clinical experiences at local acute care facilities, including Providence St. Peter’s Hospital and Capital Medical Center, as well as community sites including skilled nursing facilities, schools, home health, hospice and public health.
New state of the art nursing learning labs, including a dedicated simulation lab.

Financial Aid/VA Benefits
Students using financial aid must complete financial aid paper-
work in person prior to class start date. Financial Aid/ Scholar-
ship recipients may use the deferred payment plan after bal-
ance owed has been calculated using all available awards. Fi-
nancial Aid/ Scholarship students will be allowed to register
only if they’ve made financial arrangements with the Saint Mar-
tin’s University Student Financial Services Office prior to each
registration period. With the exception of Chapter 33 Post-911
GI Bill and Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation, VA benefits are
not considered financial aid for purposes of calculating the bal-
ance due to the institution.
Class Cancellations/Textbooks
We reserve the right to cancel courses or change class-
room courses to web-based if enrollment is low.
Textbooks can be purchased through our Lacey cam-
pus bookstore www.stmartin.bncollege.com
Withdrawal Policy
Classes dropped after May 26, 2020 (Session 05) will show as a
‘W’ grade on the student’s transcript. The last day to receive a
‘W’ grade is June 26, 2020 (Session 05). A failing grade may be
assigned if official withdrawal procedures are not followed.
Email Accounts/Moodle
Every student must have an @stmartin.edu email account.
Official University communication will use only Saint Mar-
tin’s email addresses. Visit http://www.stmartin.edu/ITS/ to
obtain your account.
Online courses (Web) require students to have a Moodle
account. Create and access your Saint Martin’s University
email network account before your Moodle account can be
created. The username and password for Saint Martin’s
email and Moodle will be the same. Find links to access
Moodle and its help system at http://moodle.stmartin.edu/
Prerequisites
Many degree programs require mathematics courses and
other prerequisite courses. Students must provide docu-
mented evidence of meeting these prerequisites or com-
pleting a placement test before being allowed to register.
Base Passes
Students enrolled in classes on JBLM are required to pre-
sent their printed class schedule, enhanced driver’s license,
vehicle registration, and proof of vehicle insurance at the
visitor’s center to obtain a pass to enter the base.
Undergraduate Tuition Costs
Service Members/Disabled Veterans (not Voc Rehab) & Spouses 100-400 level $250/credit 3CH course $750
Civilians, Retirees, Veterans, DOD and All Others 100-400 level $500/credit 3CH course $1500
Students using their VA benefits (not Voc Rehab) must complete the VA certification request form at https://www.stmartin.edu/academics/academic-resources/office-registrar/veterans-assistance/va-certification-form and provide proof of their GI Bill eligibil-ity. Jennifer Jamison Textbook Scholarship
The Jennifer Jamison Textbook Scholarship is named after Saint Martin’s University Contingent Professor Jennifer Jamison who built her academic career by primarily instructing at the Joint Base
Lewis McChord Main and McChord Field campuses of Saint Martin’s University. Jennifer’s generosity helps qualifying and deserving undergraduate students pay for academic term
textbooks. The scholarship is offered every academic term.
The scholarship is open to all eligible undergraduate SMU JBLM campus students and it awards $150 per term. All Service members, their family members, and veterans who qualify for this
scholarship are encouraged to apply.
Linda Fletcher Memorial Scholarship
The Linda Fletcher Memorial Scholarship is named for a former Director of SMU-JBLM Campuses at Saint Martin’s University. This scholarship honors her memory by recognizing students who
exemplify the qualities Linda Fletcher felt made for successful students as well as special people. The award recipient receives a monetary award to be applied toward tuition and/or books at Saint

we say goodbye to our SMU-JBLM Academic
Advisor, Renee Burden. Renee began with Saint
Martin’s University working in the office of the
registrar and later transitioned to the SMU-JBLM
campuses. She has advised for hundreds of
students and has been a great addition to Saint
Martin’s University. We congratulate Renee in her
retirement and thank her for everything she has
done for Saint Martin’s University, our students,
