What is a SMARTMovie?A movie that is made using the SMART Recorder, found items from the web and a lot of creativity. A SMARTMovie can include a combination of:• Pictures• Data• Words• Graphics

Creating a SMART animation• Try to record in 1280 x 720 pixels• You can use Firefox ruler to get an idea of how big that is• Don’t use too many animations on the one slide• Keep it simple and work up to more complex animations• Have students work in teams on different slides and then import
to combine• Use it for rough copies sometimes and more polished products
at other times• Consider Powerpoint as a good alternative• Have fun• Use the finished products as assessment• Make sure students know how to download to their computers at
home
