SmartGUARD enables door staff to take, upload and view images of anti-social behaviour offenders, reducing many of the flaws associated with the old radio network and bringing door security into the 21st Century.

HoW IT WoRkS

The SmartGUARD system, consisting of a smartphone and dedicated application, allows door staff to ‘snap’ an image of any individual they remove from their establishment due to anti-social behaviour.

once the image is captured the operator is presented with a number of options from a drop down menu, including severity of threat and reasons for removal.

This information, along with the offender’s image, is then shared on the SmartGUARD network, so that other establishments within a chosen locality are alerted and may refuse them entry.

Why USe SmartgUarD?

Radio technology has been outdated for years so why keep using it?

As SmartGUARD enables door staff to take, upload and view images of anti-social behaviour offenders, the system reduces many of the flaws associated with the old radio network and brings door security into the 21st Century.

The risk of door staff missing radio alerts, due to attending a situation in their own bar, is eliminated as alerts are stored within the application and so accessible at any time.

There are a number of measures in place, within the SmartGUARD platform, that reduce the potential for misuse by door staff. All staff have to log in to the application, when they are using it, whilst they may only use the system within a set distance from their place of occupation.

This means that door staff will always be traceable and accountable, if abuse is suspected, whilst they will only be able to use SmartGUARD when at work.

SmartGUARD is not designed to assemble a list of offenders and blacklist them from an area permanently, it is merely intended as a system that allows door staff to refuse entry, for a night, for abusive customers.

The photos uploaded to the SmartGUARD network drop off after 24 hours so offenders are not permanently barred from the area and abuse of the system is limited even further.
