Step 1 Gmail Setting

Tips: Due to the limitation of Gmail, when you login the Gmail in the third party client, it will ask the

user to create an App password for Gmail, and then use the App password as Gmail password to login.

Please follow below to create the App password for Gmail.

1. Input www.Gmail.com in browser, Go to your Google Account. Click [Profile] click

[Google Account].


2. On the left navigation panel, click [Security].

3. Click [APP passwords].

Tips: You have to do 2-Step Verification and then click App passwords.

If you don't see the button "App passwords", please refer to the instruction "How to turn on Gmail 2-Step

Verification"(Page10)


4. Input Password, Click [Next].

5. Click [Select app ▼], Select [Mail].


6. Click [Select device ▼], Select [Other (Custom name)].

7. Enter a name (Like: Faleemi Camera) which is easy to remember and click [GENERATE].


You will get a password as below screenshot [vlocndnladkvmtnj] (16-digit passwords are all

letters, no numbers). Please record the app password generated, and then click [Done].

Tips: Please make sure you have recorded your password (it is the app password just generated

above, Better to copy the app password and paste it to avoid any mistyping), if you forget it, you need

to revoke it, and then create it again.

Now the Gmail setting is finished.


Step 2 Go to Faleemi app to do the setting

Tap [ > ] [Advanced Settings] [Alarm Setting] and [Mail Setting]


A. [Alarm Setting] enable [Motion Detect Armed] and [Send mail When Alarm]. Tap [Done]

(Tip: You can set Motion Detect Sensitivity to High, Normal, or Low. We suggest you to choose Normal)

B. [Mail Setting] Gmail SMTP Port: 465 , SSL: SSL, enter your email address (for example:

[email protected]), and the password (it is the app password just generated above )

, and then receiver Email address, etc. Tap [Done] Please refer to

below screenshots.

Sender: ******@gmail.com (Your full Gmail address, for example, [email protected])*

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com

SMTP Port: 465

SSL： SSL

Authentication: Enable

User Name: ******@gmail.com * (The same as Sender )

Password Your Gmail app password ( for example: bovezjkwxqcrasas)

Receiver1 ********@______.com Your other mail address, *******@______.com

(for example, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Aol, iCloud etc)

Receiver2 ********@______.com ( Optional )

Receiver3 ********@______.com ( Optional )

Please pay attention to put your Sender Email address to the white list of your Receiver email

address.

Otherwise, sometimes, the emails go to junk mail box.

So far, the setting is finished. Your receiver email will receive mails with real time alarm pictures as below screenshot.

2. On the left navigation panel, click [Security].

3. Click 2-Step Verification.

4. Click GET STARTED


5. Input Password, Click on [Next].

6. Enter your mobile number, Click on [Next]


7. Enter your Google verification code, Click on [Next]

8. Click on [TURN ON]

Now the Gmail 2-step verification is finished, and then refer

to the instruction of page 3.
