case to prevent damage and theft. • He wants a waterproof/ weatherproof

case so he can run in the rain.

Stage 1: Understand

Goals and Needs• He wants a remote control Iphone control to have

the ability to change songs, volume and turn it on and off without having to actually reach and touch

the phone while he is running. • He wants a safe, waterproof case to hold his Iphone

in• He wants a belt like product to connect Iphone in

while he is running

Wants and Requirements • He wants it stylish• He wants it to fit comfortably• He wants it to be reliable and work every time• He wants it to be a durable product and last for a

long time• He wants it to be inexpensive• To sell it to other customers like Tim we will also

need to create a belt in different sizes.

Stage 2: Explore

There are many different kinds or exercise/hydration belts and smartphone cases on the market but our product is going to be

Stage 4: Ideate

Stage 5: Prototype

After we made a prototype. We made a few refinements to help make our product a little bit more better for our customer. First, we added an additional front pocket to the belt for extra storage. Then we added a stopwatch holder in the back pocket to store a stopwatch. We then also enhanced the remote and changed the position of some of the buttons and the size of the buttons was also changed so they are easier to press.
