Smart lighting by Citelum: • Replace the obsolete bulbs by LED bulbs since they are more energy-efficient, stronger, more flexible and
have a longer life.
• Pilot public lighting (on the scale of a city, a neighborhood, a bright spot) via the MUSE® remote management software: on / off, brightness adjustment, event programming, real-time alerts...
• Equip the street lamps with sensor systems: cameras, presence sensors, brightness sensor…
• Integrate easily new connected services thanks to the electricity grid
Did you know?
The right light, at the right place, at the right timeThe emerging of new technologies as the LED bulbs is starting a street lighting revolution. LED bulbs assure a better lighting quality combined with low carbon emissions and lower costs, since they are more energy efficient and have a longer product life.
Thanks to the remote processing and the lighting and presence sensors, the street lighting becomes smart. It can adjust itself automatically or can be remotely controlled.
Citelum believes that the smart lighting is a well-adapted lighting that allows a more comfortable and secure urban environment.
You wish to:• Reduce the city’s electricity bill• Lower maintenance costs • Improve the lighting quality and availability • Improve urban security• Respect the rules and reduce lighting pollution• Reduce the carbon footprint• To have an infrastructure ready to host new
smart services
Using new lighting technologies allows
up to a 90% of energy savings
LED bulbs have a 5 times longer life
than traditional bulbs
Lighting represents more than 40%
of the city electricity bill

GHow does the renovation of lighting work?
City analysis:• Diagnosis of the existing lighting system and a preliminary study of the city: history, architecture,
activity, traffic, etc.
• Selection of the renovation priorities of the city, according to geographical areas, lighting system obsolescence, etc.
• Creation of a « Lighting Master Plan » and / or « Lighting Plans »
Proposal of equipment: • Citelum proposes to the city different lighting scenarios and various smart lighting technologies:
Works, Operation and Maintenance:• Installation of lighting poles, electrical cabinets
and airborne equipment by Citelum teams
• Equipment maintenance
Supervision and control with MUSE®:• Real-time monitoring, control and diagnosis of all
equipment and services
• Computer management and maintenance • Data analysis
LED renovation: Replace aging lighting points with the latest technology in date.
Sensors: Record the activity and adjust the light intensity of each street lamp.
Remote management MUSE®: Ensure remotely and real-time control and maintenance of the lighting system.
LED renovation:
• Up to 50% of energy savings
• Reduced maintenance
• Homogeneous lighting
• Reinforced security
• Adjustable light intensity
• More natural light (color palette from orange to white / blue)
Remote management with MUSE®:
• Up to 20% of additional energy savings
• Real-time information about energy consump-tion and outages
• Remote management of the on / off function, light intensity, etc.
• Real-time adaptation of the lighting with the city’s activities
• Creation of predefined lighting scenarios
Sensors:
• Up to 20% of additional energy saving
• A smart and autonomous street lamp
• A connected infrastructure ready to receive new smart services
In its smart lighting offer, Citelum is committed to results
