They’ve developed a home grown New Zealand made solution which harnesses solar energy. EcoInnovation, a company renowned for innovative renewable energy solutions has teamed up with Independent Power, a specialist in remote Solar PV solutions to deliver the Smart Hydraulic Pump (SHP). The pump is simple to install and maintain. It offsets up to 3 tonnes of CO 2 per annum, while seeing a financial payback within 1 to 5 years depending on requirements and site location. Millar’s Beef Farm Turns Sunlight Into Pumping Power

Northland comprises many dairy and cattle farms which in summer can suffer drought conditions.
