Transcript of Smart Board Computer IPad AirServer. AirServer- What is it?
No WIN XP
• Airserver will only work on the newer Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers that are connected to the Smart Boards.
• Windows XP computers will NOT be able to use Airserver.
Wireless
• The computer that is connected to the Smart Board needs to be running on the Wireless Network.
• If the computer that is connected to the Smart Board is plugged in with a network cable, you would need to unplug the network cable when using Air Serve (and remember to plug it in again when finished using it.)
Network cable- (may be a different color)
Unplug network cable from the computer
Wireless• Then go to the bottom right of your computer
display and open the Wireless Signal Connections.• Connect to the system that has “GUEST” in the
name. (No password would be required for that.)
Finding AirServer Icon• Click on the bottom right of your display to find the AirServer
icon in the tray.
• Click on Settings once you find the icon.
AirServer PW• When Settings opens you will find a screen under the General Tab that will allow
you to change the password.
• Then type in the password
you will use for your session.
You need to change the pass-
word for every session so that
The screen is not accessible by others when you do not want it to be.
That password would be
used by anyone who is displaying
their iPad to the main screen.
