Being SMART

Components

Infrastructure Connectivity Economy Governance Technology Environment Community Culture

Stakeholders

Collaboration between several stakeholders is needed for achieving the common goals through an inclusive process. A single replicable model of development is impossible to achieve as their aspirations and capabilities are different for each Country, city, town or village.

Government Political will at the Central, state and Local levels with a clear Vision for holistic development. Need to set relevant regulations and ensure enforcement

Industry Corporates, Academicians and researchers should be able to develop Technology & innovation to suit the needs of the people and the regulations set by Governments

Community Groups with various economic, political or social backgrounds should be aware of the needs, be able to utilize innovations and understand the vision.

Village Action Plan Requirements for drafting a Development Plan depending on the situational assessment

Convergence

Convergence between various

Departments and Government agencies

is needed to plan for holistic

development. The benefits of Economic

growth should be distributed across

every community, crossing all

geographic, economic & social barriers.

Collaboration

Every city/ Village need not reinvent the

wheel and develop all necessary

capabilities for development and

management. Collaborating with

Industry, Global leaders and specialist

groups could help achieve the goals at a

faster pace.

Research

The ever changing needs of the

population, increasing stress on

resources and long term climate change

need to be addressed differently for each

case through development of relevant

technology, products and processes.

Page 14: Smart Andhra Pradesh FoundationAPHRDI... · 1 Smart Andhra Pradesh Foundation Sm art V illage - Sm art W ard Program m e Government of Andhra Pradesh Training Program on e-governance
