A complete rangeThe Benthin Small and Medium Roller Blind System provides a complete family of components to make blinds ranging from 350 to 2800 mm wide with a choice of operation. The Small and Medium system complements the Large Roller used for heavy duty blinds especially targeted at the commercial sector.

Designed for simplicity and flexibilityThe Small and Medium Roller Blind System is designed to be as simple and flexible as possible in both production and installation.

Modular design to reduce stock and increase flexibiltyA few symmetric components and smart adaptors are used for

both Small and Medium models.This ensures a high degree of flexibility in the production with a short learning curve and fewer components resulting in reduced capital tied up in stock.

Efficient and cost effective productionThe production method is the same irrespective of size. Once you have learned to produce roller blinds of one size, you can easily adapt and produce other sizes without theneed for further training.

Modern and timeless designThe design focuses on functionality and aesthetics, resulting in a completely harmonious blind when fitted in front of a window or in the recess.

Easy and safe installationSymmetric brackets and a patented end plug with safety lockensures easy and safe installation.The symmetric bracket minimises the distance to the recess and facilitates easy installation, thereby avoiding costly mistakes when fitting.

Smooth operationThe reliable brake mechanism is designed for smooth and silent operation on different sizes of tube. Operation and braking capacity have been optimised so that even heavy blinds require the minimum of effort to operate.

Switch control from one side to the otherUsers have a choice on which side the brake and ball chain is placed, and it can always be moved at a later date – including on site when fitting.

End plug with safety lock and automatic distance adjustmentA new and patented end plug makes it possible for just one person to install the roller blind. The end plug locks the blind safely in place and automatically adjusts for measurement inaccuracies through its patented spring function.

Minimal light gap for recess mountingThe system is designed to have a symmetrical light gap of only 12 mm at each side of the blind, with optimal functionality without touching the surrounding frame.

One bracket The galvanised or white painted steel bracket can be used at either ends of the free-hanging, fascia or cassette roller blind, both chain and spring operated. This reduces the risk of errors when supplying the finished product and simplifies stocks, delivery and installation. The bracket is available with optional colour coordinated end caps. Colour optionsVisible components are available in white, black, beige and grey. These tone well with many fabric colours so the end-user will always be able to buy an attractive, high quality, coordinated blind.

Small Roller Blind – RSThese models are designed for blinds with a small roll diameter to provide an aesthetically pleasing solution for smaller windows. The scale of the blind is in complete harmony with the size of the window.The control can easily be changed from chain to cord, or cord to chain without the need for tools oradditional components

All models can also be changed easily from left to right side operation, or reverse, while fitting without a need for tools.

The Medium roller blind models are designed as a strong and versatile solution to cover a wide range of needs and applications.A high breaking capacity and the choice of tube sizes and control options make the Medium roller the perfect solution for most needs.

Increased lifting comfortThe ease of operation for heavier blinds can be further increased by using a lift assist spring. This is simply fitted without tools and with no risk of tension loss.

Coupled blindsTwo or three blinds (tube Ø 36 and 38 mm) can be coupled to be operated with a single control, allowing for intelligent and flexible solutions for modern windows facades.

Crank controlA crank and gear control is available as a select solution for higher loads and increased safety.

All Medium roller blind models can be fitted with a fascia in either a round or square shape.

Easy installationTo fit the fascia, the end cap simply slides onto the standardised bracket and clicks safely into place. Both top and face fixing is possible.


Fixing profileThe optional fixing profile simplifies installation as the blind is supplied already attached to the profile whichjust clicks onto the wall, frames or ceiling with user-friendly fixing clips.

Unique tube designA patented tube with varying inner diameter and footprint absorbs the tolerances in both tube and inserts to ensure the components fit tightlyand securely.

An elegant round or square cassette can be fitted on all Medium roller blinds to integrate neatly into the building structure and give a nice finish to the whole blind.

Easy clip mountingAll cassettes and side profiles are fixed with clips on either the wall, frame or ceiling for quick and easy fitting.


Dim out solutionFor improved light reduction, a side profile with fabric guide can be easily fitted onto all cassettes. The end caps of the bottom rail guide the fabric securely in the side profiles.Optional brushes can be fitted in the cassette, the side profile and the bottom rail.

Safety pinThe cassette unit can be safely locked in place by means of a small safety locking pin, to reduce the risk of damage in transit and hold the cassette securely when fitted.

Solutions for all needsEfficient manufacturing Innovative manufacturing equipment is a trademark of Benthin. The FC2 fabric cutting table ensures reliable and efficient production of roller blinds. The HM2 assembly and inspection hoist can be used for the production of all types of sun screening products.

Selection of coloursThe Small and Medium Roller System is available in four colours each with fully colour coordinated components. Colours have been carefully chosen to blend harmoniously with most fabric choices.

Guide wireThe guide wire fixings can be fittedto the bottom of the frame or the wall for maximum flexibility. Guide wires can be used for standardblinds with brackets and mounting profile, or those with a fascia or cassette, and are easily adjusted even after fitting.

Frosted ball chains A selection of ball chains with a frosted surface is available for a modern and timeless look. The matching chain connector is alsodesigned to be used as a bead stop, combining two functions in the same component.

Intelligent featuresDouble end stopA unique patented solution with adjustable top and bottom stop for crank controlled blinds. It allows the fitter to easily adjust the end stop from the outside, when installing the blind. Even after fitting the stops can be easily re-adjusted.

Combined gear and motor bracketBoth motor and gear control blinds use the same simple bracket.

Adjustable end plugThis patented end plug allows the simple alignment of tube height for free-hanging and cassette roller blinds. This helps to absorb the tolerances in fixing and minimise fabric tracking on the tube.

Two rollers on one bracketThe double bracket is used to fit two different roller blinds on the same bracket, for ultimate flexibility. An example is transparent fabric for daytime use and dim out for the evening.

Two-profile bottom railsThe reversible bottom rail is designed with a flat shape on one side and round on the other to suit all styles of blind. The bottom rail is attached to the fabric by means of a plastic spline with adhesive tape. The design provides for minimal installation time, and a harmonious and decorative finish. For lightweight blinds, it is possible to add extra weight to the bottom rail to ensure they hang well.

Fixing profile for accurate fittingThe fixing profile allows for simple fitting of blinds to exact measures. The profile is easily fitted with clips on either wall or ceiling.
