General Mission Statement

SERG strives to provide Serious Slot Car Racers a fun, respectful and high competition environment to

campaign modern high performance slot cars. The rules will be both simple and applicable to all SERG events to

keep the racing consistent regardless of the format being raced at that event. SERG will be running longer

Membership

will receive the points from the previously participated events. The new member will race as an IRONMAN for their

first 5 races to promote maximum trigger / racing time. Those wishing to be a member who is known by the

membership from racing with other groups will not be required to fulfill the probationary 3 race step. The Primary

Officers will accept or deny the request to be a member. Anyone denied SERG membership will be informed of the

reasons for the decision and will not participate in SERG events for not less than one year.

SERG also reserves the right to cancel membership, by the Primary Officers, if a member no longer

Rules Updates

1) At the season end race of a SERG Series club members can and are encouraged to discuss updates to the

competition rules to resolve issues that may have occurred.

2) If there is an obvious competition rule that needs more clarification to be fair for the whole of the group, it

can be brought up at the drivers meeting before any race or immediately after the race has just

completed. The rule change, if deemed to be crucial to the racing program and / or will promote fairness

in competition and needs to be implemented immediately, will be updated in the rules and enacted

before the next race. If voted on and approved at the drivers meeting, the rules will be in effect for that

race and published in the rules in a timely manner.

3) All Competition and General rules debates will be held in person. No Phone, online, E-mail, Text or any

other form of communication will be used to address rule concerns

4) All rule changes will be subject to review and approval by the Primary Officers before they are implemented

to ensure SERG will be following the course generating its inception

Race Format 5) Team Challenge Series. Teams of two will compete for a series championship racing their own car.

Qualifying will determine the team assignments. Each driver will carry their individual points through the

series from both Qualifying and race finish. Additionally, points for each drivers lap totals will be kept to

establish a final Single Racer Champion.

Track Specs

6) 4 lane minimum

7) Racing Surface must be made of MDF, routed slots and gains, with woven copper / tin coated braid. All

construction and components to be of high quality.

8) Braid must be below the racing surface at a minimum of .005” and max of .050”

9) The racing surface shall be coated with glue / naphtha resistant compound / paint. (Rustoleum water based

epoxy system 5300 as an example)

10) The racing surface shall be smooth with no bumps, dips or harsh transitions any of type which could

promote cars de-slotting.

11) There shall be walls flanking the full length of the track to keep the cars contained on the racing surface.

12) All lanes to be color coded with stripes flanking the slots. Preferred color for the lanes: Blue (inside),

White, Orange and Green (outside) on the drivers straight. If other colors are used they should not be

close in shade causing confusion when marshaling.

13) Drivers station to have Red, Black and White posts clearly marked. A “Power On” indicator is preferred.

14) All tracks will have contemporary computerized timing and scoring (Track Mate or Lap Master as

examples). The software shall be kept to the current release so functionality between tracks is consistent.

15) Scoring, dead strip or light bridge, shall be located in an area of the track to minimize errors for the

computer timing and scoring.

16) Computer monitors: a minimum of one viewable from the driver stations. Additional monitors are

preferred at convenient locations about the track.

17) Track power: 90 amp regulated power supply of high quality is preferred. BullDog or IOTA brands are

known quality units. On shorter tracks, less than 60 feet, a minimum of 55 amp power supply is preferred.

Additionally a 1 to 2 Farad capacitor should be employed to help clean the power and provide reserve for

startup power demand surges. If a battery is utilized, it should be of the deep-cycle type and use a

charging system that turns on when the track power is turned off to keep it as close to capacity as

possible. If a Sub-1 Amp battery tender is used to maintain the battery, it does not have to auto shut off

when track power is on. The battery should be fully charged at the start of race day.

18) Power taps: All to be as equally spaced as reasonable. A minimum of two if track length is less than 90

feet. Tracks over 90 feet shall have 3 power taps “equally spaced” at no more than 40 feet apart. All

power taps should be of a minimum 12Ga stranded wire with separate power and ground leads.

19) Lighting shall be adequate to fully illuminate the racing surface. All cars should be easily seen while

traversing the track.

20) Pit Space: Tables / benches with enough space to accommodate all the competitors’ boxes and work space

as required to include adequate lighting.

21) There shall be at least one 120vac outlet location for soldering irons in the pit area.

22) A tire cleaning station should be provided to keep the track clear for others, to help keep dirt off the track

and to help prevent localized damage to the track surface. If a tire cleaning station is not available it is the

driver’s responsibility to clean up the burnout residue from the racing surface. The burnout / tire cleaning

pad shall also be cleaned up after use by the driver using the pad.

23) Controller hangers shall be available at the driver stations or enough flat surfaces at each driver station to

safely place and protect the controller during lanes changes.

SERG Spec Parts=Commercially Available

24) For all of SERG class specs, commercially available = multiple retail sources, such as but not limited to,

PCH(www.e-slotcar.com), Mid-America(shop.slotcar1.com) and Pacific Slot Car

Raceway(www.shoppscr.com). EBAY as a single source does NOT qualify as “Commercially Available”.

Controllers

25) Resistor or Electronic types of commercial build quality only to protect track electronics

26) No battery packs or batteries of any kind connected to or integrated into the controller are permitted

(eliminates any potential issues )

27) Connection to track power shall be by alligator type clips or equivalent.

Car General Rules

Bodies

28) Bodies shall have no paint restrictions but SERG encourages stripes or other details to be painted as part

of the livery

29) No 3D vacuum formed interior required for any body. If interior is not used, the windows shall be blacked

out with paint from the inside. (Black or other color darker / different than the body main color so it is

unique to the color scheme and can be clearly identified as the windscreen)

30) If an open cockpit body is used and a 3d driver is installed, the driver must be detailed with unique color

driving suit and helmet (something different from the primary body color)

31) Bodies must have a minimum of 1 number located forward of the car’s front wheel area. No

Sharpie/marker numbers

32) Sponsor decal required on back wing minimum. More sponsor decals are encouraged

33) Dia-Planes are legal in all classes. Commercially available only. Bend line of Dia-Plane must be no further

forward than the leading edge of the molded body cut line. Leading bottom edge should be broken /

rounded to protect the racing surface

34) Rear spoilers: all lower downforce bodies with small or no rear spoilers will be allowed 1/2” above molded

body edge will be standard height. Taller spoilers, if used, must be clearly specified in class nomination.

LD Examples: JK-7215 Dyson Mazda GT1, JK-7183 Mercedes CLR. High downforce, wedge type bodies, will

not use added spoilers unless specified in class nomination. HD Examples: PAR-1116 Ultimate Indy, JK-

70141 Peugeot Coupe 908 HD

35) No additional material may be used to extend the molded rear spoiler. If material is added to stiffen the

rear spoiler it must be cut following the molded body lines.

36) If a body is nominated that is NOT commercially available, it is the nominees responsibility to obtain

enough of the bodies to supply all members with at least two.

Chassis 37) Commercially available chassis to match class requirements. Primarily current Flexi type chassis will be the

base for SERG classes. Other chassis, such as GT12, Eurosport, Wing or D3 can be nominated but must be

clearly specified with part numbers if other than “any” is used to describe which chassis are being

nominated (example: JK 1/24 F1 #JK-26901). See line 24)

38) D3 can be custom built or from a kit. To be specified in nomination

39) Rounding and polishing of the leading edge bottom of the chassis is permitted and encouraged. Not to

exceed ½ of the chassis material thickness (protecting the racing surface)

40) Chassis bracing at the front and rear is permitted with piano wire or commercially available brackets. Rear

bracing can include gear protection but must be designed and installed in a manor protecting the racing

surface.

41) Minimum .063” chassis clearance measured with electronic SERG “Good to Go” tech gauge. The Electronic

“Good to Go” tech gauge will be available to all drivers on race day so they can be sure their car will pass

tech. Details of the Electronic Tech found at line

42) AXLE GEAR MUST NOT EXTEND BELOW THE CHASSIS BOTTOM SURFACE TO PROTECT THE RACING

SURFACE. Tech procedure is at line 97

43) Any gear pitch may be used

44) Any gear ratio may be used

45) Any rear axle diameter may be used

46) Any rear tire diameter can be used as long as it meets minimum chassis clearance rules

47) Any axle bearing may be used- Oilite or Ball permitted

48) 1/24 Max car width = 3.250”

49) 1/32 Max car width = 2.500”

Motors

50) Low cost-High performance FK style mini can motors will primarily be used. These include the Hawk7,

Falcon7, PS-4002S, PS-4002FK, JK Hawk Retro and Blue Crusher. (This list will be changed as technology

advances) (Phoenix motors are NOT legal club motors)

51) Motors will be specific to the class and can include C or D can variants

52) Seals on motors to show no indications of subversion. If the seal shows a break fully about the application

or is missing a full width section of seal, the motor will no longer be considered sealed

53) Other motors of higher cost and or performance will be per class nomination

Class Structure

54) All classes will be 1/24 chassis or 1/32 Open chassis

55) Classes shall be primarily made of modern high performance components. The classes can be low cost

(Flexi) or open to higher cost chassis (Eurosport-GT12 etc) to be clearly stipulated in class nomination.

56) Team Challenge classes will be 1/24th

flexi chassis based unless alternate is voted in by the membership

57) SERG will race one class per event.

58) Bodies must be selected that promote good handling cars. A suggested body list will be provided on the

SERG web site.

59) No “Scale Model” or “Authentic” appearing requirements to be applied to any racing classes

60) Only one body will be used per class to keep it simple, fair and promote a high level of competition

61) Motors: Contemporary low cost, high performance motors will be used primarily. Higher cost longer

lasting motors may be used only if they have been deemed legal for the class being campaigned. (voted

for and approved by the members per class)

Class Selection

62) Each member in good standing can nominate one class to be voted on.

63) Classes nominated must include, chassis, motor, body (with part number) and spoiler height from molded

edge of body if different than standard height

64) Nominations will begin 4 races before the end of the current SERG Team Challenge Series races. It is the

nominators responsibility to ensure the bodies are available in quantities so all members can have at least

two.

65) Classes once raced must remain in the garage for one full year before they can be re-introduced as class

nominations.

66) Class selection will be popular vote of members in good standing.

67) All voting will be by paper ballot to best represent the interest in the classes nominated

68) Each member will have up to two votes

69) Voting will be at the penultimate race of the current SERG Team Challenge Series. If a tie vote exists

between 2 nominations, the class with the most components previously run in a class will get the vote to

keep costs down and competition up. If the difference between the 2 classes is only the body, only those

2 will be voted on again for the tie breaker.

70) If a tie vote exists between 3 or more classes, those classes will be used for a tie-breaker vote. If a tie again

happens, the class to be run will follow line above.

Driver Etiquette

71) During all Practice sessions, if a driver’s car de-slots that driver should IMMEDIATELY call “CAUTION” to let

the other drivers know lanes are blocked and proceed with CAUTION. It would be best if the location of

the de-slot were also announced when calling a “CAUTION”. As a professional courtesy, this rule is very

important to help keep cars from becoming damaged requiring repairs to compete.

72) During practice and racing, all cars shall have the proper lane sticker affixed forward of the front wheel

area or on the front windscreen. With stickers on for Practice, casual corner marshals will know where to

go with de-slotted car avoiding riders and unnecessary crashes

73) When preparing to practice, the controller must be hooked up before the car is placed onto the lane. The

driver should announce the lane color they are going onto as they enter practice so the other drivers are

aware. Example: “Coming In on Orange”

74) When leaving a lane during practice, the driver shall announce the lane color is open for others to use.

Example: “Blue is Open”

75) All drivers will do their best to race clean, fair and promote a competitive atmosphere.

76) Drivers will proceed through racing, lane changes and marshaling in a timely, professional manor.

77) Blatant intentional nerfing or crashing other competitors will not be tolerated. Race suspensions up to a

maximum penalty of revocation of membership and participation of all SERG events. First penalty =

current race suspension. Second penalty = 3 race suspension. Third penalty = 1 calendar year minimum

non-participation. Time period for penalties is one calendar year from first occurrence. Third offense

ousted driver must submit for re-instatement in writing to a Primary officer after time period elapses.

Only the Primary Officers can present said ousted driver for membership vote by membership population.

Primary Officers have final authority on penalties.

78) Respect for turn marshals shall be the normal posture. Yelling at the Marshals does not show respect. It is

preferred for a driver to communicate with the turn marshals to help them help you, similar to:

“…Blue(lane color) please, Thank you..”

79) Respect for the track shall be the normal posture. No actions that could harm the track will be tolerated (

slamming objects down on any part of the track or jerking wires from posts as examples) Blatant intent to

cause damage will result in life time revocation of membership.

80) Drivers are responsible to police their pit area of trash, oil drips and parts before leaving the hosting track

81) Hostile verbal abuse between members will not be tolerated. If it occurs, a 3 race suspension penalty will

be applied to those involved. Disputes shall be handled like mature adults. (Verbal abuse = profanity or

other language used to attack one’s character, physical attributes or any other form of insult intended to

cause harm)

82) Violence / bodily harm from one member to another will not be tolerated and will result in life time

membership / participation revocation.

Marshaling

83) All drivers will take their turn marshaling. Failing to marshal, unless due to a medical issue, will result in a

100 lap penalty

84) Marshalling stations shall be defined before the qualifying begins.

85) Marshals shall be replaced by available drivers between heats as much as possible. Nobody is required to

marshal the whole event without relief

86) Marshaling shall be treated as though it is the marshal’s car on the track. Pay attention to your corner /

section, keep your hands ready to pick up cars

87) If a car is out of the slot and is crashed into by another car, the second car should be placed back into

action first as much as possible

88) No cell phone use will be tolerated when marshaling. A 100 lap penalty shall be applied if a turn marshal

abandons their marshalling duties to use their phone without being relieved. If a marshal must take a

phone call, they need to be relieved before leaving their position

89) Conversations between marshals should not include looking away from the marshals responsible track

section

90) Turn marshals shall not work on any car during GREEN FLAG action. Correcting braid or pushing in body

pins during track calls are the only permissible repairs.

Tech

91) Tech will be open 30 minutes prior to Qualification begins.

92) The Electronic “Good to Go” tech gauge will be available to all competitors at the start of the event for

minimum clearance compliance assurance. The area teched is the same as a normal commercial tech

gauge, ¾” deep x 1-1/2” wide x .061” high. The car will be placed with the rear most chassis edge against

the rear edge of the stop block. The power button will be pressed to apply 5 vdc. If the car does not

immediately move forward under its drive with no wheel spin and completely clear the raised minimum

clearance block, the car is too low and must be made legal before it is placed into action-No Exceptions.

Cars shall be checked by their driver before they begin Practice.

93) Both the DRIVER and the CARS are the OFFICAL ENTRY. The TEAMS are made of OFFICAL ENTRIES.

94) All cars shall pass tech before qualifying.

95) Drivers can present a backup car for tech

96) All Cars will be held in “Parc Ferme`” after tech and through the whole event.

97) No gears shall extend below the bottom of the chassis. This will be checked by using a small flat piece of

wood flush with the bottom of the chassis and moved across the gear location. If the gear moves, it is too

low. No exceptions.

98) Track power will be turned off 15 minutes before scheduled start of Qualifying to complete entries and

tech.

Qualifying

99) The previous Pole Position winner will select the lane for Qualifications and be put at the end of the

Qualifying order. If they are not present the next fastest qualifier from the previous race will select the

lane. At the start of a new series, the previous champion will declare the qualifying lane.

100) Qualifying: Fastest Lap Time Format. 45 sec including a driver called “BYE”. The order shall be drivers

without series points first followed by least series points up to points leader with previous Pole Winner

last. Only the first qualifying attempt will be given the full allotted time. If a driver must pull their car for

repairs to continue qualifying, the remainder of the 45 sec at the time the driver calls a “BYE” will be used

for the second attempt. The next driver will assume qualifying. The second attempt will be after all drivers

have had their first qualifying attempt.

101) Qualifying positions score same as race finish points to help discourage sandbagging team / heat

assignments and to create a race with in a race.

102) If a driver with no series points is entered, they will start the qualifying order.

103) Drivers must return their car to Parc Ferme` after their qualifying run

104) ALL car repairs must be performed during GREEN FLAG action by either team mate. If a team mate is turn

marshalling and they are to complete repairs, they must be relieved of marshalling duties before repair

can be performed.

Team Challenge Races

105) Teams of two will be made from official qualifiers: if 12 qualifiers- 1&12, 2&11, 3&10, etc. This is to even

out the competition as points are scored to each driver from team results.

106) If an odd number of racers are entered, the middle qualifier will select one of the following options:

A. Up to 2 volunteers will be sought to drive as the middle qualifier’s entry. They are to be referred to as

“Proxy Drivers”. The “Proxy Driver” will be pulled from the next fastest, next slowest qualifiers up to

two positions away. The “Proxy Driver” can drive either their car, the middle qualifier’s driver’s car or

an additional car. Only the middle qualifier entry will score racing points. The up to two “Proxy

Drivers” will not score race points with the finish position of the middle qualifier driver. If one or two

proxy drivers are assigned and they are racing an additional car, the car must be presented for tech.

These drivers will have 2 minutes of track time to validate the cars for competition.

B. The middle qualifying driver can choose to campaign all lanes themselves. The IRONMAN. They will

race all lanes. In the first heat the 1st

and 3rd

lanes will count for lap totals. In the second heat the 2nd

and 4th

lanes will count for lap totals. (This simulates the Ironman having proxy drivers and provides

individual laps totals for final position)

Racing- General Rules

107) ALL work, maintenance, repairs etc. shall only be performed during the team’s / drivers

GREEN FLAG time or the 3 minutes between heat race lanes. This includes a 3 minute

preparation period before racing resumes after intermission. This means only the times the

team / driver would normally be in action of competition. More specifically, work on an official

car can only be performed if the car is going on to a lane (the 3 minute lane change time) or is

currently slated to be on a lane (the event lane race time). The other team car will remain in

Parc Ferme`. A violation of this rule will result in a penalty of the following for first offense = 200

laps only to the offending drivers total. The team mate will not have a lap penalty. A DQ for a second

violation on race day will be applied. (Clarification for this rule: Endurance events, once the race has

started, the clock is ticking down to zero. Every entry has only the Official Clock time to compete

including repairs to cars.) Any team member can work on the car providing they are not currently

performing turn marshal duties. (new drivers, less than 5 races, will be given exception)

108) Drivers can only drive their own cars when racing for their assigned team. Both the driver and cars are

the OFFICAL entry.

109) Backup Cars can be utilized at the driver’s discretion only during GREEN FLAG action. This does not

include the 3 minutes prep time between lanes or after intermission. The driver choosing to use their

backup car must bring the car to the driver’s station, remove and replace with backup car in Parc Ferme`

with no help from other drivers. The backup car must have the appropriate lane sticker for competition.

Once the backup car is used the primary car must remain out of action for the rest of the event unless

backup car completely fails (stops or creates an on track hazard).

110) The fastest qualifiers will pick their lane choice to start the race. A bye can be used if more than 4 teams.

111) The starting drivers will have 3 minutes to prepare their cars. Drivers on deck can have their car from

Parc Ferme at the end of current stint and prepare for racing during the 3 minute lane changes. After a

driver has finished racing their lane, the car will be returned to Parc Ferme`.

112) Lane change will be controlled by the computer for 3 minutes max. If all drivers are ready to compete

before the time has elapsed, a manual restart will be used to shorten the program.

113) No Gluing or tire treatments of tires or track will be allowed (after practice has ended). The racing

surface will be prepared by the host before the event (using spray glue or rolling glue onto the racing

surface). This rule is to make it fair for all the drivers by letting the track progress naturally and be

predictable throughout the event. Cleaning the tires with Naptha and spinning the tires dry on the

burnout pad is the only legal tire treatment during the race.

114) Braid juice shall only be used to clean the braid on the car. Excess must be wiped off the braid with an

absorbent towel or rag. No braid juice shall ever be applied to the track braid. This is to protect the

bonding medium of the braid. A violation during racing or practice is a 100 lap penalty for the first

offense. If a second offense occurs during the same event, that driver will be excluded from the final

points for that event.

115) Track calls will only be used for:

1) Car off the racing surface in an unreachable location

2) Rider

3) Car in position not easily reached by marshal (ie: HVAC interference)

4) Car blocking lanes under the bridge

5) Track repair

6) No track calls for repairs to cars or controllers

116) If for any reason racing must be stopped due to a track failure and completion of the event cannot be

attained, points for that event will be from Qualifying only. This includes Team Points by averaging the

both team mates qualifying time and ranking a finishing order based on the average.

117) If there is not enough racers to hold the race, those who are present will Qualify and points will be issued

based upon Qualy results. Teams will be formed and the average of the two qualy times will be used to

rank a virtual race and points will be issued from that ranking. Each driver will be given 3 minutes to turn

as many laps as they can to award individual lap points.

Black Flags

118) Any car shorting out the track will be Blacked Flagged, (ie: throwing off sparks will be black flagged). The

power will not be turned off. The driver or Team Member of the car must pull the car off the racing

surface and repair the cause of the short / sparks. (tires, loose metal, loose wires etc)

119) Any component of the car dragging the track, that could cause damage to the track, the car must be

removed from the racing surface and corrected

120) If any part of the car causes unfair crashes or track calls, (ie: the body is unsound and contacting other

cars), and the driver cannot continue at a reduced speed without causing disruption of normal race

action, the driver must pull the car from the racing surface and perform repairs to offending problem.

121) The power will remain on even if the damage is crash related.

Race Procedure

122) Starting Lane Selection: The fastest drivers will select their teams starting lane. Teams can opt to use a

BYE. If there are more than one “BYE” available, the team can select Bye-1, Bye-2 etc as desired. If a

subsequent team also elects to use a BYE, they will be placed in the BYE-x order. If only the four slowest

teams driver are left for lane assignment after faster teams have elected to BYE, the 4 slowest teams will

start the first heat with the fastest selecting their lane first. When 4 teams have been assigned to start the

first heat, the order will be set. Either team driver can run their first heat.

123) Each driver must race all 4 lanes or the total available lanes if the hosting track has more than four lanes.

Team discretion as to lane assignments for Team’s lane rotation

124) Middle qualifiers using proxy drivers must drive each of the available lanes

125) Each lane will be raced for 10 minutes giving each driver 40 minutes of racing.

126) Final race position will follow the most laps and sections. The team with the most laps and sections will

be the winner.

127) Entry fee will be $5 Per Driver

129) SERG Team Challenge Series Races: Final positions will be based on a “Best of” providing dropped points

races. This will provide for those who cannot make all the races and for those who can, their points

reflected will be their best performances.

Team Challenge Races

130) Drivers will carry their Qualifying points and Team Finish points individually to establish final Series

Championship and Team Driver Positions. Drivers will also carry points for the final individual lap totals of

each race for a Single Racer.

131) Both team members will score the same amount of points for their finish position

132) Pole position box plate will be awarded after Qualifying

133) Team Challenge Series finishes, 1st

Track Records

134) Track records will be kept and posted on the SERG website. These will be by Track, direction and class.

135) Track record holders will be acknowledged (TBD)

Finances

136) Entry fees will be primarily applied to awards for SERG events as described above.

137) Collected Entry Fees will be kept by only one of the Officers

138) At Tech, when the Entry Fees are collected, at least two officers will verify the correct total

139) A SERG monies account expenditures and collections register will be made available to “Members Only”

at the beginning of the normal season in January and July.

140) Any member can request, and is entitled to see the account expenditures and collections to the date

requested.(this provision is specifically to ensure the monies collected are being spent as detailed in this

document and can be audited.)

141) Only the required monies for Web Site maintenance or improvements will be pulled from the Entry Fees

collected.

142) Only the required monies for promotional and awards costs of the awards, box plates and SWAG shall be

pulled from entry fees.

143) There shall be no pay or compensation for any SERG related work to any member, Primary Officer or

Auxiliary Officers

144) No track owner will receive any SERG monies for track repair, upgrades or facilities

without a unanimous member vote. This shall be on an interest free loan basis only if

approved. Repayment shall not exceed one calendar year.

SERG Officers

Primary Officers

145) Only hosting Track Owners can be SERG Primary officers. Being a Host Track Owner does not necessitate

automatic status as a Primary Officer of SERG. If a Hosting Track owner wishes to be an Officer of SERG,

they must request this status to the current Primary Officers. By requesting Primary Officer status, they

agree to uphold the SERG Statement, all the SERG rules and Intent of these posted rules to ensure the

future success of SERG. Admission as a Primary Officer will be by unanimous consent of the current

Primary Officers. There shall be no “President” or other titles indicating rank. Primary Officers will be by

committee listed below. Issues requiring decisions concerning SERG operations and Business will be by

majority vote of the Primary Officers.

146) Primary Officers will be charged with providing top level racing with both Quality Tracks and Fair Rules

for the whole of the group. They will also know and follow the rules to the best of their ability outlined in

this document. Their actions shall be for the future security of the detailed SERG racing formats and rules.

Financial Secretary 147) The financial secretary shall be a Primary Officer. They will keep a running ledger of all monies collected

and issued for SERG debts.

Auxiliary Officers

Tech Directors

148) The tech director shall be pulled from a committee of 3 members in good standing. The committee of

three members will carry out the verification of car, motor, body rules conformity of the entered cars at

each event. The three tech directors can perform their tasks as a team or individually at the events.

Secretary 149) The Secretary shall be a Member in Good Standing. They will be responsible for keeping the points and

race schedule current and posting them to the SERG web site
