21 years higher education experienceSix degrees ranging from business
administration and graphic design to instructional technology
Experience at five colleges and universities ranging from small, private liberal arts to regional state universities and Tier I research
Worked closely with the professoriate for many years and understand the environment
Educated in both traditional and adult environments

I also believe that to engage students, I must actively seek to connect my curriculum to tangible and real-world events and experiences. To maintain an atmosphere where students feel comfortable and confident, I will use constructive guidance and positive reinforcement. I feel it is also necessary to establish and clearly define reasonable limits with logical consequences. Students will be encouraged to take ownership in shaping our learning dynamics through openly sharing their work, ideas and personalities that will enrich their peers and foster their intellectual development.”
