STATE-SPONSORED TERRORISM:

It is the type in which the terrorists who are engaged in general oppression of the people or the violent attacks are supported by the government.

OR One nation contribute to enhance the terrorists

activities in another country. The terrorists seek to use violence.

RIGHT WING TERRORISM:

It is a type of terrorism which aims to do away

with the democratic and liberal governments.

They want to preserve traditional social orders

and create fascist states in their region.

LEFT-WING TERRORISM:

This group of terrorism destroys the capitalist

democracies.

Wants to establish socialist or communist

regime in their place.

Stay away from the use of violence.

Their ideology is influenced by socialist and

communist thought.

It is a type of terrorism committed by the individuals

or the groups to influence the social and political

system.

It is also divided into different types:

Revolutionary terrorism.

Non- revolutionary terrorism.

Repressive terrorism.

NATIONALIST TERRORISM:

Committed by groups having strong nationalist

ideas.

They seek to establish an independent state.

Fight for their natural liberation.

May also include violence against immigrants.

Consider them as a threat to the native

population of the country.

BY METHODS EMPLOYED:

• Terrorism is divided into different types according to the kind of attacking agents.

CYBERTERRORISM:

Information technology is used. Terrorists use computers or

telecommunications to disrupt network services.

Attempt to steal or copy certain information which is necessary to manufacture any form of biological, chemical or nuclear weapon.

Their targets also include public services such as train networks, airports, emergency and financial systems, satellite networks, etc.

BIOTERRORISM:

This type refers to the intentional release of biological agents.

Biological agents spread very quickly. They cause serious harmful disease and

sometimes death might also occur. Biological agents include bacteria, viruses or

toxic spores of fungi. Bioterrorists target both the population and the

important resources like water,livestock or crops, causing epidemics.

CHEMICALTERRORISM:

This type of terrorism uses the chemical agents

as their weapons.

The Chemicals used by the terrorists might

have the prolonged devastating action.

Chemicals employed for this purpose are

chlorine, phosgene, mustard gas, hydrogen

cyanide and other heavy metals.

NUCLEAR TERRORISM:

Terrorists employ the ways to exploit the nuclear material.

This may include: Building nuclear weapons. Attacking nuclear facilities . Use different ways to disperse radioactive

material. Radioactive materials are very harmful causing

mutations in the genetic makeup.

ECOTERRORISM:

Violence by environmentally-oriented group. Their targets include forestry companies,

automobile companies, furries, research laboratories, anglers, farmers, fish men, zoos.

NARCOTERRORISM:

The terrorists are directly or indirectly involved in manufacturing, cultivating, distributing and transporting of

spurious drugs.

Or

Use of violence to prevent efforts of government to stop the trade of drugs.
