Ali in one part of island…

Zaid in another part of island…

Ali needs to find for food to stay alive. So sad….he was alone in island . He was looking there and here to find food. Finally he founds garden tools and fruits and vegetables in boxes.

“ Ah” says Ali.. With the thing here, I will be able to eat and

survive….”

Ali took the seeds from the fruits and vegetables and plant them. He also saw potato plants growing nearby…..

‘it is very useful’’! I can eat them while waiting for seeds

that I plant to grow’ says Ali.

Ali’s life goes on like this….

Each time he finishes a fruit or vegetable, he collects the seeds and plant them. He keeps renewing his food supply…..

Same as Ali, Zaid also must find food to survive. He was very happy because he founds kitchen utensils and several boxes of canned food.

“Yeah, says Zaid” there is enough canned food here for few months”…

Zaid also founds potato plant nearby…. But he says….

“I don’t need them” I have

plenty of canned food. It is more delicious….”

As times goes on, Zaid’s supply of food get less and less. His supply of food is limited. He cannot renew his food supply of canned food. If the canned food finishes, he has no more food….

Ali’s food will not run out.

Ali’s food supply can be renewed.

Ali able to grow new plants and vegetables to replace those he eaten.

Zaid’s food will run out.

Zaid’s food supply cannot be renewed.

Zaid not able to replace the canned food. Once finished he had no more food
