It is a pleasure to count with your participation during the II International Symposium on the Multidisciplinary Treatment of Sleep Apnea. The congress will take place in the auditorium of the University Clinic La Paz in Madrid the 18th and 19th of April 2013. We are expecting more than 30 national and international speakers, all of them with a wide experience in the themes that will be treated.

We hope to repeat the success of the first symposium celebrated in the Navarra University Hospital the 26th, 27th and 28th of March 2008 where more than 300 specialists of all implicated areas of the study of obstructive sleep apnea were attending the event.(www.apneasymposium.com).

Regarding the program, our intention is to point out the multidisciplinary approach in the handling of this pathology having in mind that it is a public health problem and that there is the necessity of a proper diagnosis and follow up. This time we will discuss more profoundly the different alternatives of treatment and their instructions.

Hoping the scientific content and the election of speakers might be of your interest and you will enjoy the days in Madrid.

El evento tendrá lugar los días 18 y 19 de abril de 2013 en el salón de actos del Hospital Universitario La Paz de Madrid. Contaremos con la participación de más de 30 ponentes tanto nacionales como extranjeros, todos ellos con una dilatada experiencia en los temas que van a abordar.

Esperamos repetir el éxito de la primera edición celebrada en la Clínica Universidad Navarra los pasados 26, 27 y 28 de marzo de 2008 y que congregó a más de 300 especialistas de todas las áreas implicadas en el manejo de la apnea obstructiva del sueño.(www.apneasymposium.com).

En el programa hemos querido resaltar el enfoque multidisciplinar en el manejo de esta patología, tanto por el problema de salud pública que representa como por la necesidad de un adecuado diagnóstico y seguimiento, haciendo esta vez un enfoque más profundo en las distintas alternativas de tratamiento y sus indicaciones.
