ARE YOU A SLACKER?

Who are those people

considered to be “SLACKERS”?

Proverbs 6: 6-11. 6. Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise! 7. Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work. 8. They work hard all summer, gathering food for the winter. But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep? When will you wake up? 10. A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest; 11. Then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.

These are some instances of people to be considered “SLACKERS”.

1. The men and women or parents who fail to teach and discipline their children are considered “SLACKERS”.

These are some instances of people to be considered “SLACKERS”.

2. The guy who refuses to help around the house is also considered “SLACKER”.

These are some instances of people to be considered “SLACKERS”.

3. Those teenagers who neglect their studies and play Internet Games day and night are also “SLACKERS”.

“slackers”. 1. “Prayer slacker” This refers

to a believer who is lazy to pray.

1 Thess. 5:17-18 17. Maging matiyaga sa panalangin. 18. Ipagpasalamat ninyo sa pangalan ni Cristo Jesus ang lahat ng pangyayari, sapagkat yaon ang ibig ng Diyos.

2. “Bible- reading slacker” This refers to a believer who is lazy in reading the bible.

to me. 104. Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life. 105. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

kinasihan ng Diyos at magagamit sa pagtuturo ng katotohanan, sa pagpapabulaan sa maling aral, sa pagtutuwid ng maling Gawain, at sa pag-akay sa matuwid na pamumuhay. 17. Sa gayon ang lingkod ng Diyos ay magiging handa sa lahat ng mabubuting Gawain.

3. “Not-exercising-of-our-spiritual-gift slacker”

- This refers to a believer who is lazy to share his /her God given spiritual gift of wisdom.

Roma 12:6-86. Yamang mayroon tayong mga

kaloob na magkakaiba ayon sa kagandahan-loob ng Diyos sa atin, gamitin natin ang mga kaloob na iyan. Kung pagpapahayag ng kalooban ng Diyos ang ipagkaloob sa atin, ipahayag natin ito ayon sa sukat ng ating pananampalataya;

maglingkod tayo. Magturo ang tumanggap ng kaloob na pagtuturo.8. At mangaral ang may kaloob na pangangaral. Kung pag-aabuloy, mag-abuloy ng buong kaya; kung pamumuno, mamuno ng buong sikap. Kung nagkakawang-gawa, gawin ito ng buong galak.

to a believer who is lazy to do or refuse to do what he/she know God wants him/her to do.

James 4:17 Ang nakaaalam ng mabuti na dapat na niyang gawin ngunit hindi ito ginagawa ay NAGKAKASALA.

We may make excuses for not obeying God......... but He still calls it

DISOBEDIENCE.

Therefore “SLACKER PERSONS are

DISOBEDIENT PERSONS”

A good leader is the one who knows the

way, shows the way, and goes the

right way.
