British Film: Skyfall

Plot

When James Bond's latest assignment goes terribly wrong, it leads to a calamitous turn of events: Undercover agents around the world are exposed, and MI6 is attacked, forcing M to relocate the agency. With MI6 now compromised inside and out, M turns to the one man she can trust: Bond. Aided only by a field agent , Bond takes to the shadows and follows a trail to Silva, a man from M's past who wants to settle an old score.

Sam Mendes- English Film and Stage Director. He has directed a number of successful films including American Beauty (1999), Revolutionary Road (2008) and Jarhead (2005). He earned an academy award for best director for American Beauty. He has also directed a number of stage productions such as Oliver!, Richard III and King Lear.

Producers

Michael G. Wilson- American Producer and Writer. He has been involved in the James Bond franchise for many years. Some of the films he wrote the screenplay for Licence to Kill (1989), A View to a Kill(1985) and For Your Eyes Only (1981). Some of the films he also produced include Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale and Die Another Day .

Barbara Broccoli- American film producer. She is most notably known for producing the James Bond films starring Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.

Writers Neal Purvis & Robert Wade-British screenwriters. Have co-

written the five James Bond films from The World Is Not Enough to Skyfall. They have also written spy parody film Johnny English.

John Logan-American playwright, screenwriter,

film producer, and television producer. Has written the screenplays for many notable films including Gladiator. The Aviator, Hugo and Sweeny Todd.

Cast

Daniel Craig- English actor. He plays James Bond in the franchise and is most well-known for this role. He has also acted in Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Elizabeth and the Golden Compass.

Javier Bardem- Spanish actor. He plays the villain in Skyfall: Raoul Silva He is most well-known for his portrayal in No Country for Old Men in which he earned an academy award for best supporting actor.

Ralph Fiennes- English Actor. He plays Gareth Malloy or M in Skyfall. He has appeared in many films such as Schindler's List, The Duchess and the Hurt Locker. He also played Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter franchise

Naomie Harris- English Actress. She plays Eve Moneypenny in the film. She has also been in Pirates of the Caribbean and played Winnie Mandela in Mandela: A Long Walk to Freedom.

She played Agent M in Skyfall. he performed in several of Shakespeare's plays in such roles as Ophelia in Hamlet, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Lady Macbeth in . She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress forShakespeare in Love. She has also appeared in many notable films such as Chocolat,  Iris, Mrs Henderson Presents, Notes on a Scandal, and Philomena.
