Postdoctoral Positions in Space Systems Engineering and Satellite Engineering The Strategic Innovation Research Group at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology invites applications for full time Postdoctoral Associates for a) space systems engineering and multidisciplinary design optimization research, b) the development of small satellite hardware projects, and c) supporting the development of the space curriculum and teaching at Skoltech. Principal Investigator is Skoltech Professor Alessandro Golkar. The successful candidate will be responsible to conduct and manage full time research projects collaborating with and supervising doctoral students. Research areas of interest include a) space systems engineering, concurrent engineering, and multidisciplinary design optimization research, b) the development of space payloads and sensors, and c) supporting the development of the space curriculum and teaching at Skoltech. We are looking for committed, pro-active and motivated candidates that hold a Doctoral Degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Backgrounds of interest include aerospace engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering, computer science, and systems engineering. Successful candidates have relevant research and/or industrial work experience. This should include an understanding of systems modeling and multidisciplinary optimization.
