What are the strengths and weaknesses of your production work?• A strength for my double page spread is that it clearly follows my colour scheme of black, white

and green, this makes it look like a real magazine as it is consistent. Another strength is that the headline is bold and very striking, this makes my double page spread eye catching and make the audience want to read the article. A weakness is that in the image not all members of the band are giving direct address which is conventional to have in a double page spread image. Another weakness is that the image does not contain any musical iconography which professional magazines would have.

What did you find easy and what did you find difficult?• I found it easy to find pull quotes to use in my double page spread because the answers that I got

from the interview would intrigue the audience and make them want to read on. I also found it easy to import the images and text onto Quark.

• I found it difficult to come up with a headline for the article that would be appealing to the audience and I also found it hard to write the article whilst fitting in the answers from the interview.

What were the main tools you used in Quark and why?• The main tools I used in Quark for my double page spread were the text tool and the colour tool.

Mainly because I was deciding which shade of green would look best and I was constantly editing the article to make sure the spacing was correct and there were no hyphens.
