Ski Buzz is an exciting concept in ski holidays for the matureski bum.

Rekindle memories of youth - long days of hard skiing,brilliant blue skies and sunshine, immaculately groomedpistes, fresh powder, tumbles, fast skiing and exhilaration.

Follow days on the slopes with après drinks, beer, wine andglühwein. Great stories, banter and fun.

Tomorrow rejoice as the sun rises over the mountains - anew day to do it all again.

We invite you to join a small group of like-minded skiers torevel in a new and unique alpine experience on an escortedski tour of Austria's finest slopes.

behind the concept

Ski Buzz has been created by siblings Yvonne Verstandig andDaniel Burger.

Yvonne and Daniel live in Melbourne and grew up skiing at MtBuller most weekends. Family holidays during their youth werespent skiing overseas as often as possible and whilst at Universitythey chased any job available in the snow.

Eventually careers and family took priority over life on theslopes and those carefree ski days became a distant memory.

Yvonne is now a director of Executive Edge Travel + Eventsand Daniel is an architect and property developer.

Whilst Yvonne spent most of her childhood being tormentedby older brother Daniel, their love of skiing has brought themtogether as adults with a mission to create the perfect skiadventure for like-minded mature ski bums.

Ski Buzz focusses on two ski areas in Austria - theinternational resort of Lech am Arlberg (with a ski areaincorporating nearby Zürs & St Anton) as well as the villageof Ellmau in Tyrol (part of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser area).

Ski Buzz is now offering its inaugural 12 night escorted skitour departing Munich on Monday February 29th andreturning to Zürich on Saturday March 12th 2016.

Day 1: Mon 29th - Transfer from Munich. Afternoon at leisure, walk the village of Ellmau and prepare for skiing. Afternoon visit to Kitzbühel for those not sleeping. Welcome cocktails at Hotel Der Bär and meet our local guides.

Day 2: Tue 1st - Ski Scheffau, Going & Ellmau with a little Schnapps on the way back.

Day 3: Wed 2nd - Ski Westerndorf & Brixen. Visit Hopfgarten for schnapps, walk through town, church visit and dinner.

Day 4: Thu 3rd - Ski Itter, Soll & Hopfgarten; followed by aprés.

Day 5: Fri 4th - Ski Ellmau, Going.

Day 6: Sat 5th - Breakfast then depart Ellmau. Enjoy a rest day with a snow shoe walk in Kelchsau National Park and lunch on route to Lech. Welcome drinks at Hotel Gotthard. Meet the guides.

Ellmau: The warm up

Day 7: Sun 6th - Ski Lech & Zürs.

Day 8: Mon 7th - Visit St Anton for a day skiing St Anton & Rendl. Finish with drinks at Rendl beach.

Day 9: Tue 8th - Ski Weißer Ring (Lech, Zürs, Zug, Lech). Finish at the Romantik Hotel Krone outdoor bar.

Day 10: Wed 9th - Ski day of Choice day – ski with guide or option to have a day out ski touring.

Day 11: Thu 10th - Ski Stuben, St. Christoph & St Anton.

Day 12: Fri 11th - Ski Lech & Warth. Farewell dinner.

Day 13: Sat 12th - Transfers to Zürich airport.

Ellmau village is located at the northeastern corner ofthe SkiWelt. The resort is in the middle of thebreathtaking Wilder Kaiser mountains and KitzbühelerAlpen. The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser is one of the largest inAustria with a total of 250km of pistes.

The mountain range provides vast areas of easy skiing which provides an ideal initial location to warm up for your ski experience.

Ellmau village is traditional, quiet and full of ambience with its cosy atmosphere, warm hospitality and Tyrolean charm.

The experience of Ellmau will take in the neighbouring village of Hopfgarten and Kelchsau National Park.

Lech am Arlberg is a charming traditional village in whatis regarded as the snowiest area of the Alps. Theincredibly well planned lift system connects Lech to thevillages of Zürs, Zug & Warth (amongst others); offeringa total of 47 lifts and 190 km of pistes.

Lech is connected into the Ski Arlberg Ski Pass whichincludes the nearby resorts of St Anton & St Christoph.

The area offers diverse skiing with long runs, reliablesnow and quality groomed pistes for intermediate toadvanced skiers; and an abundance of off-piste skiing.

It is in Lech and St. Anton that we aim to work on yourpowder skiing and off-piste ski touring and take on somemore challenging runs.

Ski Buzz has selected two very special 4-star hotels foryour Austrian sojourn. Both hotels are situated withinwalking distance of the ski lifts and the village centres.

The Der Bär in Ellmau, owned by the Windisch Family, hasbeen completely remodelled to create a modern alpinehotel offering the warmth and charm of a traditionalTyrolean family business. The Der Bär includes a gym,pool, sauna and steam room.

The Hotel Gotthard, owned by the Walch family, isperfectly located in the village of Lech just as short walkfrom the lifts, cafes and shops. Hotel Gotthard offers agreat spa, fitness centre and indoor pool, with renownlocal cuisine with its own in-house bakery.
