Applications & FeaturesApplications & Features
• All waterways and impellers are designed for maximum efficiencies using the latest CFD design techniques.
• With 6 pump sizes, each available with a range of impeller sizes. • Impellers can be made from cast iron, bronze or 316 stainless steel. • All pumps can be fitted with stuffing boxes and gland seals or
alternatively with a variety of mechanical seals. • Double volute design for low vibration, shaft flex elimination and
balanced internal forces for a long service life.

• Smaller models can operate to 3500 rpm. • Heavy duty construction with casing pressures up to 25 bar. • Can be supplied and fitted with a range of electric motors and start/
stop panels & pump control systems on painted or galvanised bases. • Can also be supplied and fitted with a range of diesel engines
complete with start/stop panels & pump control systems on painted or galvanised pump bases with built in diesel fuel tanks.
• All construction is undertaken in our Adelaide workshop.
• Finsbury Powamac are distributors for the SAER’s range of SKD series split case centrifugal pumps. The SKD units are medium pressure, large volume, industrial centrifugal pumps. Designed and manufactured in Italy by Saer Elettropompe, one of Europe’s leading pump manufacturers, to meet the tough requirements of agricultural, commercial, mining and industrial clients.
• The pumps are guaranteed to perform and have tolerances to the latest UNI EN ISO 9906 standards (Appendix A,
level 1 on request). European quality at Australian prices. • The pump full range has six inlet and discharge sizes from DN125mm to DN500mm. • All pump are available with grease lubricated or oil lubricated bearings on request. • The pumps are of the axial split casing variety, allowing for easy maintenance on the rotation elements and pump
internals without the need to remove the pump pipework, driving unit or main pump body. • With flow rates to 4900m3/hr and heads to 180m, these pumps can transfer clean liquids up to 1200C. • The SKD series pumps are not self priming however external priming solutions can be offered for these pumps if
required. • These versatile heavy duty pumps are ideal for a range of commercial and industrial uses including:
Water/liquid transfer: For the industrial and municipal transfer of clean liquids requiring high volumes at medium heads. Also ideal for recirculating plants and air conditioning systems. Emergency services: Reliable pump for large volume fire fighting systems. Agriculture: Ideal for pumping large quantities of water for irrigation schemes.
