Green Belt

A green belt is an individual who works on projects part time. Green belts are the “work horses” of 6 projects.

Green belts sometimes are allowed to work full time / lead on simpler projects.

Some of their responsibilities: Define a project objective. Facilitate the team through all the project. Analyze data through all phases of the project. Communicate with the champion, master black belt, black belt,

and process owner.

Process Owner

A process owner is the manager of a process. A process owner has the responsibility for the process and also has the authority to change the process.

Some of their responsibilities: Be accountable for the best practice methods and output of

his/her process. Understand how the process works and the relationship of the

process with other processes in the organization. Participate in the tollgate review process. Accept and manage the improved process.
