Situation 2: Assume that you are an IT Consultant working in a company from Bosnia or Vegaland who have been chosen to perform the system update. How would you typically approach this project? Following are the steps in which we will approach this project: 1. Strategic planning Allocate a project team: Each team member would be committed to the success of the project and accountable for specific tasks, i.e. developing a timeline, finalizing objectives, formulating a training plan. We will include first line workers as well as people from the management on our team. Analyze current business processes of the company: We will have the team which will perform an analysis on which business processes should be improved. The team will also check whether the system is up to date. Set objectives: The objectives should be clearly defined prior to implementing the ERP solution. Develop a project plan: The team will develop a project plan which includes previously defined goals and objectives, timelines, training procedures, as well as individual team responsibilities. 2. Procedure review Review software capabilities: We will train the team on every aspect of the ERP software to fully educate the team on capabilities. Gap analysis: We will compare the actual performance with potential or desired performance. Identify manual processes: We will evaluate processes that are manual and should be automated with the ERP system. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs): We will develop SOPs for every aspect of the business. These procedures should be documented. We will modify the documents as and when the SOPs will change. 3. Test the configured scenarios of project Pre-test the database: The project team will practice in the test database to confirm that all information is accurate and working correctly. Situation 2: Assume that you are an IT Consultant working in a company from Bosnia or Vegaland who have been chosen to perform the system update. How would you typically approach this project?

Following are the steps in which we will approach this project:

1. Strategic planning Allocate a project team: Each team member would be committed to the success of the project

and accountable for specific tasks, i.e. developing a timeline, finalizing objectives, formulating a training plan.

Develop a project plan: The team will develop a project plan which includes previously defined

goals and objectives, timelines, training procedures, as well as individual team responsibilities.

2. Procedure review Review software capabilities: We will train the team on every aspect of the ERP software to fully

educate the team on capabilities. Gap analysis: We will compare the actual performance with potential or desired performance. Identify manual processes: We will evaluate processes that are manual and should be

automated with the ERP system. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs): We will develop SOPs for every aspect of the

business. These procedures should be documented. We will modify the documents as and when the SOPs will change.

3. Test the configured scenarios of project Pre-test the database: The project team will practice in the test database to confirm that all

information is accurate and working correctly. We will make sure that all necessary interfaces are designed and integration issues are resolved to ensure that the software works with other systems.

Train the Trainer: We will provide additional tools, such as cheat sheets and training documentation to the employees and train them.

Final Testing: The project team will perform a final test on the data and processes once training is complete and will make any needed adjustments.

4. Go live and evaluate Develop a final Go-Live Checklist: This will include:- Documents & modifications are tested thoroughly. Executives and departments heads are fully trained. Users will have assistance during their first live transactions.

Evaluate the solution: We will develop a structured evaluation plan which ties back to the goals and objectives that were set in the planning stage. In addition, a post-implementation audit should be performed after the system has been up and running.
