Project Introduction – What is the vision?

Provide a unique waterfront experience for Sitka

residents and visitors of various age groups and

abilities on a safe and continuous pathway.

Pedestrian emphasis on strollers, kids with bikes, and

leashed pet.

Link ANB Harbor to Sitka NHP while improving

connections to businesses and institutions.

• Nationwide Permit NWP 14, Linear Transportation Projects, is

the most appropriate.

• NWP 14 has discharge (fill) limits of ½ acre to US waters or

1/3 acre to tidal waters (<12,7 elevation). Less than 0.05 Ac

anticipated.

• Wetlands Delineation performed in May 2012.
