Site Supervisor Job Description Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing personnel and systems to achieve the required availability, reliability, capability and cost management of the site’s plant and equipment. As the Site Supervisor, you will: Manages daily site and production organisation and supervision in line with company policies and procedures; Meets all occupational health and safety standards; Attends and pro-actively contributes to tool box meetings; Ensures all housekeeping duties are undertaken by the team; Attends and contributes to weekly site safety meetings including completion of any proposed corrective actions; Ensures the service performed by the company is of the highest quality achievable; Ensures all site personnel employed onsite are suitably trained and assessed to carry out the required task; Ensures that all sub-contractors work within the AAB Group Policy and Procedures, quality, environmental and plant management plans; Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of daily reports on project progress; Reports all incidents, accidents and near misses immediately and completes the incident investigations with assistance from the Health, Safety, Environment and Training advisor; Acts to ensure the welfare of the personnel, machinery and all company property is of top priority; Makes recommendations for mobile plant improvements in accordance with AAB Group continuous improvement policy; Performs all work undertaken to the standard required for the project, correct and upgrade any work, which does not meet with the required standard and always look for continuous improvement;

Communicatessiteperformanceandstrategiestoemployeestomeetsetobjectives;
Encouragesanddrivesemployeecontributionincontinuousimprovementprograms;
EstablishesKPI’sfordirectreportsalignedwiththeProjectStrategyandensurestheseare
cascadedthroughoutthefunction;
Providesclearleadershipanddirectionandpromotesandfostersaperformanceculture
consistentwithAABGroupvalues;
Providesregularperformancefeedbacktodirectreportsandcompletesannual
PerformanceAppraisals;
Providescoaching,mentoringanddevelopmentopportunitiesfordirectreportsand
buildsthecapabilityofbusinessunitpersonnel.
Otherrequirements:
Relevantandextensiveoperationalexperienceinaproductionenvironment;
Goodverbalandwrittencommunicationandpresentationskills;
Provensupervisoryexperience;
CertificateinG1–ApplyRiskManagementProcesses,G8ConductSafetyandHealth
InvestigationsandG9CommunicateInformationindesirable;
Soundcomputerskills–(Word,ExceladOutlook);
MustholdavalidC–Classlicence.
