Site plan: The Dog Walk will take place on the walking trail at Lincoln Parish Park. The walking trail is 1.33 kilometers which is a little under a mile. This trail is located around the lake at the park. It will be a central location and easy for everyone to find. While participants walk their dogs they will also enjoy the scenery of walking around the water. Not only will the participants enjoy the water but the dogs will too. When the dogs participating get thirsty they can stop for a drink. Also a bathroom and pavilion is located on the walking trail and will be available for participants. During the duration of the event the pavilion will house different booths set up my various pet venders. Located in front of the pavilion a band will be playing. Also in front of the pavilion a table for registration and food will be provided. Two parking lots are also easy to access being located next to the pavilion and walking trail. Occupancy limits: Lincoln Parish Park is accessible and well accommodated for a large

crowd. The Park can accommodate up to 100,00 visitors in a year. Several events are held

at the park including many walks/runs for fundraising.

Control traffic: Traffic will be controlled by signs beginning at the park entrance where

a parking fee will be collected. Signs will continue on to the parking lots next to where

the Dog Walk will begin. Also volunteers will line the edges of the roads holding signs

and pointing people in the right direction. Local Ruston Police will be waiting in the two

parking lots controlling traffic and showing people where to park.

ADA compliance: With Lincoln Parish Park being a government owned facility it is in

compliance with the ADA. We will also make arrangements if needed to comply with

ADA.

Parking: The Park provides two easily accessible parking lots located next to the waking

trail and the pavilion. Lots are paved and lined.

Décor: Above the entrance of the pavilion a banner will be hung reading “1st Annual Paw

Walk” with the 4 Paws Rescue logo. Red and black balloons will be tied to the front

columns on the pavilion. All pet store sponsors will provide decorations for their booth.

Tables, chairs, and banners will indicate what company is located at a certain booth. This

equipment will be provided by Taylor Rental and Build A Sign. At the starting and

finishing line, a red and black balloon arch will stand. Sponsors of the event will have

white campaign signs with their company or sponsor name printed on the sign lining the

walking trail. White campaign signs (dimensions 18X24) with black writing will line the

road leading to parking, indicating directions.

Color Scheme: Will be red and black signifying the 4 Paws Rescue logo and website.

Sound: Speakers will be set up at the start and finish line for announcing when the race

starts and to provide music while walking the trail. Also speakers will be located on the

stage that the band will play on. The band will be playing on a flat bed trailer of an 18-

wheeler.
