The new generation is basically characterized by various connection systems (screw-type terminal, spring-loaded terminal, insulation piercing), the variance of an addition output for an indicator light and its low mounting depth.

- 3SF5402-1AA04 2F-IN; spring-loaded terminal
- 3SF5402-1AA05 2F-IN; insulation piercing NEW
- 3SF5402-1AB03 2F-IN / 1 OUT loadable with max. 20 mA; screw-type terminal
- 3SF5402-1AB04 2F-IN / 1 OUT loadable with max. 20 mA; spring-loaded terminal
- 3SF5402-1AB05 2F-IN / 1 OUT loadable with max. 20 mA; insulation piercing NEW
The introduction of the new generation replaces the following AS-i F-adapter: 3SF5402-1AA01
The adapter 3SF5402-1AA01 is discontinued.
The respective date will be announced at a later point in time.
