SIPPO, the Swiss Import Promotion Programme, is a mandate
of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, SECO, within the
framework of its economic development cooperation. It is car-
ried out by Osec, the official Swiss foreign trade promotion
agency. The programme helps SMEs in developing and transition
countries to gain access to the Swiss and European markets by
providing information, training courses and other matchmaking
services. SIPPO also assists importers from Switzerland and the
European Union with finding suitable partners and high-quality
products from selected developing and transition countries.
The programme has five main goals:• To inform the Swiss and European import economy about new
market sources
• To strengthen trade institutions and business sector associa-
tions in the trade promotion process
• To increase the competitiveness of SMEs in selected partner
countries
• To develop the manufacturing and exporting skills of SMEs in
selected partner countries
• To establish qualified trade contacts between SMEs from
emerging markets and markets in transition and the Swiss and
European import economy

Launched in June 2010, &CAIRO is a furniture brand created by
a new generation at HardWood Furniture Co. Inspired by the city

Established in 1999, PT. INDONESIA ANTIQUE is a manufacturer
and exporter of indoor wooden furniture. Tropical solid wood as
the main material is used in combination with various kinds of
veneer. Our strength lies in design, which goes hand in hand with
the creation of different kinds of finishings. While we grow, envi-
ronmental issues have to be taken into consideration. Therefore
we only use legal plantation wood from sustainable forests. We are

Pramaputra Maju Abadi started its production of indoor furniture in
2005, just at the time when the market became interested in teak
indoor furniture in unfinished and natural colours with simple con-
temporary lines. Our production plant is located in Jepara, Central
Java. The facilities contain a 3000 sqm warehouse and a 1500 sqm
in-house production. When production started in 2005, our compa-
ny’s products were only conceived as complements to the outdoor
furniture produced by its sister company Nature Habitat, which has
been exporting outdoor furniture since 1998. During the first three
years, Pramaputra exported 4-5 containers per year of indoor fur-
niture made of teak wood to European countries such as Belgium,
France, Holland and Italy.
In 2008 we started to further develop our indoor collection by
producing in-house. We have also started to use reclaimed teak as
the demand is increasing.
