• SIP Trunk with 120 channels ensured easy scalability when required

• Requirement of 120 concurrent calls over PRI would have consumed 4 PRI port and

a new media gateway cost. This was saved through SIP trunk solution by providing

one physical link connected to single Ethernet port which is scalable from 20 to

1500 channels

• Genesys interoperability achieved by introducing “Asterisk” box which served the

purpose of registration with Tata Teleservices switch and sends direct SIP call

towards Genesys

• Due to lesser post dial delay, call maturity is faster on SIP Trunk compared to PRI
