9. Power Requirement: This unit heats the water continuously (no heat storage tank), which takes considerable power. That is why this unit can run continuously without a drop in discharge temperature. The customer needs a sufficient power circuit to run this equipment because it takes more electricity to heat electrically than a fuel fired unit which uses diesel fuel, LP, or natural gas.

• Not applicable for small customers with minimal electric service.

• Great for medium to large customers.

•Must be preheated for 1 to 2 hours before operation.

•Tank style is less efficient because of stand by losses.

•Decrease in water temperature with extended use.

•80-140 gallon tank for heat transfer fluid makes it difficult to move around because of the weight (670-1175 lbs for the water alone).
