The Oliveri Story The company began life as a domestic metal fabricator in Adelaide in 1948.

A move to sink manufacturing saw them pioneer the deep drawing process in Australia. Over the years as the business grew, Oliveri, now Australia’s only commercial sink manufacturer, introduced precision technology to their stainless steel sink manufacturing process with the installation of some of the World’s most sophisticated processing equipment.

Their two piece manufacturing process where the drainer & bowls are pressed separately then welded together ensures that the bowls are deep, straight sided and have maximum capacity.

The personal touch is retained with final inspection and packing conducted by experienced quality control staff.

The quality style and superior design of Oliveri sinks is now enjoyed by home owners around the World as the brand has become established in many overseas markets. The Oliveri Monet, Solitaire and the undermount Manhattan have a subtle curved style which is quite unique in sink design. It complements the design features that are incorporated in many modern appliances.

For a more minimalist look, Oliveri has the Diaz, & Nu-Petite ranges that offer a choice of bowl capacities, in a modern fresh style in both inset and undermount sinks. This square modern look also extends to the Professional and Sonetto series of large capacity sinks which are the perfect match for square edged kitchen appliances.

For a more traditional round corner look Oliveri offer the stylish and elegant Petite range which is regarded as an iconic design in sinkware in Australia whilst the Perle and LakeLand range offer true value to the first home buyer.

Oliveri recognises the need for specialist sinks and offer the 35 litre large capacity bowl Duoform range which is as at home in the laundry as the kitchen. The slightly narrower Ultraform range needs less bench top space whilst the Martini a more compact sink has been designed for use behind the bar or where space is at a premium.

Oliveri also offer a range of laundry tubs that feature low profile rims and are available with rinse bypass fittings and overflow devices. To complete the package Oliveri has a range of kitchen mixer taps sourced from world renowned tapware manufacturers which have been selected to complement the design and style of the Oliveri sink ranges.

Custom designed accessories transform your Oliveri sink into a total, hygienic food processing centre whilst extending valuable work space.

Aesthetics’ is a major factor in kitchen design with the sink style needing to be in harmony with the appliances and other stylish items featured in the kitchen.

The designers at Oliveri understand this trend and have produced a range of sinks in various styles, sizes and designs to suit every kitchen.

Laminate Bench Tops The traditional high pressure laminated bench top requires an inset style sink. Installation of the sink is via a cut out of the bench top which is slightly smaller than the sink. The sink is inserted into the cut out and is secured by clips supplied with your Oliveri sink. Sealing tape fixed to the underside of the sink ensures that moisture from the bench top can not enter the cut out. It is recommended that the substrate board at the cut out also be sealed. All Oliveri inset sinks have been designed so that the drain board is of such a depth that it can be installed over the dish washer whilst also being able to fit into a standard 600mm wide bench tops.

Solid Surface Bench Tops Solid Surface work surfaces such as Granite, Composite material, Timber and such are increasingly using the undermount method of sink installation so as to have a clean line appearance. Oliveri has a vast range of sinks that have been designed for undermount installation. Some of these sinks are of extra capacity and require wider than normal bench tops.

Bench Top Width Most kitchen bench tops are 600mm wide which restricts the width of the sink. The majority of Oliveri sinks fit into this requirement however there is a demand for larger capacity sinks which require a wider bench top which are traditionally installed in wider island style bench tops. Oliveri caters for this requirement with the wider sinks being identified with this symbol.

Bench Top Space There is always a demand for extra bench top space and as such in compact kitchens and solid surface undermount installations there is a trend to use bowl only sinks. Oliveri have a large range of bowl only sinks and to further extend bench space they have developed a range of Stainless Steel Utility Trays that fit snuggly into the bowl. This tray is not only practical it is also user friendly in that the stainless steel is encapsulated with a safe plastic rim which also prevents it scratching the sink rim.

Custom made Accessories Custom designed accessories convert the sink into a hygienic food preparation area. The Oliveri range of accessories includes Solid Timber Cutting Boards, dishwasher friendly Colanders, Crockery Baskets & Stainless Steel Utility Trays that can be accommodated in the accessory lip that is a design feature of Oliveri sinks.

Bowl Size The deep drawing process that is used in the manufacture of Oliveri sinks ensures that the bowl capacity is maximised from the rim to the outlet. There is an Oliveri sink with bowl capacity to suit all requirements with most being able to accommodate the largest of kitchen pots, pans, woks and other items that do not fit into dishwashers.

Sink Material Stainless steel has for many years been the first choice of sink manufacturers worldwide because it is hygienic, easy to keep clean & has an attractive metal finish that suits any decor. The smooth non–porous surface is resistant to deterioration from heat, stains & UV light. All Oliveri sinks are made from the highest quality 18/10 – 304 grade stainless steel. 18/10 means that Oliveri sinks are made from stainless steel containing 18% Chromium and 10% nickel. The chromium in stainless steel teams up with oxygen in the air to form a strong, highly protective chrome oxide film. It is this film that makes stainless steel resistant to corrosion and gives remarkable long life. The nickel is the substance that gives stainless steel strength and lustre. Most materials will scratch, including stainless steel. The best prevention is to exercise a little extra care, or even to use one of Oliveri’s accessory baskets or bowl protectors. The finish will show wear, but over time the net effect of this ‘scratching’ becomes uniform and blends together.

Waste Outlets Basket type waste outlets have been proven to be the most suitable and environmentally friendly for kitchen sinks as they are designed to capture any residue that may have collected in the sink. All Oliveri sinks are supplied standard with basket type waste outlets and in many instances they are located to the rear of the bowl so as to locate pipe work to the back and increase usable cupboard space.

Cupboard Space The internal space of the sink base unit will be a major factor in what size sink is suitable for your requirements. Oliveri’s range strategy is that each sub brand of styles are available in various sizes and bowl configurations so as to suit the various size base units used in kitchen design.

Country of Origin Many sink manufacturers will proudly list their heritage in their promotional literature such as: Australian / German / Swiss / New Zealand however this does not mean their products are in part or all manufactured in these countries. If country of origin is a factor in sink selection ensure that you establish where the particular sink you are considering is made. Only Oliveri can lay claim to be Australia’s only commercial sink manufacturer. Part of the Oliveri product offering is sourced from overseas suppliers who manufacture to our designs and stringent quality standards, these items can be identified by the International Collection logo that is displayed on Oliveri literature and product packaging.

Tapware Your choice of kitchen tapware needs to be aesthetically pleasing whilst hard working and reliable as it subjected to as much use as the sink. Oliveri tapware is sourced from World class tap manufacturers who have proven their reliability and are able to produce product that complies with Australia’s stringent standards. All Oliveri taps are manufactured from D R Brass (Dezincification Resistant) to Australian Standards AS/NZS 3718. Each tap has been tested, rated and registered to WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling & Standards Scheme) as is required. In selecting tapware Oliveri not only look for reliability, they also require product that’s design complements the Oliveri sink it is fitted to, so that your kitchen design is consistent in style and looks.

Overflow option An overflow option can safeguard against accidental over filling and flooding. It is discretely located high on the bowl wall to maximize capacity.

Bypass Plumbing TI series tubs are available with bypass plumbing to allow washing machine grey water to enter the drain even while the tub is in use.

Oliveri’s laundry tubs are available in 45 or 70 litre capacity and feature an aesthetic low-profile rim for a near seamless fit on your benchtop. Designed to accommodate modern mixer taps, they are also available with rinse bypass fittings and even overflow devices to eliminate possible flooding. The Oliveri laundry range also offers additional laundry sink alternatives to add a touch of style to any laundry.

Total elegance and a flawless design which rises above constantly changing trends is a feature of the PA113/2. It is a solid brass heavy duty model that has been selected for the Oliveri collection as a partner to the ever popular undermount sinks and the Nu-Petite range. This Italian mixer tap features a dual action water saving cartridge which also reduces splash and water hammer, whilst its control handle is ease of action to operate.

Style, sophistication and beauty in a heavy duty mixer. The right angled spout has sufficient height above the sink to accommodate the largest kitchen pots & pans and was designed to fit in with the minimalist look that is achieved in Solid Surface where the sink is undermounted in the bench top. Manufactured in Italy its style also complements the Nu-Petite design.

SQ107

When the design calls for a square or cubism look then the SQ107 will appeal. The square Gooseneck style spout is complemented in design with a solid brass cartridge holder and matching control lever. If it’s a statement of design that you want to achieve in your kitchen then marry the SQ107 with either the Oliveri Professional or Sonetto undermount sinks it is equally fashionable when used with the Nu-Petite range.

As granite and other solid surface benches gained popularity it was necessary to design tapware that would complement this form of installation. The TN2010 meets the criteria with its heavy duty, solid brass body and 180 degree swivel spout. Practicality is not its only virtue as the design is elegant and fashionable when used in Solid Surface bench tops and combined with an Oliveri undermount sink. Recommended for Solid Surface installation only.


IP2030

Contemporary, functional design in a Gooseneck style mixer which allows for maximum use of Oliveri’s deep bowl sinks when filling large pots. An ideal partner for Oliveri Monet & Solitaire sinks, its style also complements the round corner look of the Petite & Perle sink ranges. Of the highest quality, this mixer is manufactured in Italy. Not recommended for use with triple bowl sinks.

A new generation in Italian design that gives the correct balance between the shapes of the spout, body & handle. The elegant right angle spout has a style that favours the Oliveri & Nu-Petite square lined sinks. Care & MaintenanceOliveri sinks are manufactured from genuine 18/10, 304 grade stainless steel, for optimum hygiene and durability. However, no stainless steel sink was ever designed to do battle against hardened metal utensils or food processor blades, without incurring at least a few scratches.

The best prevention against scratching is to exercise a little extra care, or even

to use one of Oliveri’s accessory baskets when washing cutlery and the like.

To maintain the shine on your Oliveri sink, regular maintenance is recommended with any of the easy to obtain, non-abrasive stainless steel cleaners or metal polishes.

Genuine OliveriBeware of imitations as no one can match the quality and design of Oliveri sinks and accessories.

The Oliveri signature embossed into the stainless steel surface, as well as the distinctive Australian style packaging, ensures that your sink is a genuine Oliveri.

All Oliveri sinks are provided with a Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty that complies with the Competition and Consumer Act (2010) in Australia.

Oliveri will rectify any genuine manufacturing fault found with any Oliveri sink during normal domestic use. However, this warranty does not cover scratching or normal wear and tear, as these are not manufacturing faults. Refer to www.oliverisinks.com for further details.
